  8. FA Cup first round: 'Stourbridge are already winners'published at 17:02 Greenwich Mean Time 15 November 2016

    Dan Pallett

Stourbridge seem to be making a habit of this Cup run malarkey.

Last season, neighbours Kidderminster Harriers were among their victims. And back in 2009 just over 2,000 saw them lose 1-0 to Walsall in the first round.

But now Stourbridge are into round two. The Glassboys face a real challenge against a Northampton side who are eighth in League One.

They’re already winners though, and Stourbridge are showing the rest of the football world what can be achieved with stability.

As you can see here - the supporters were jumping last night after the final whistle.
