A serial sex attacker, who was jailed in 2004 for seven rapes in a year, is being considered for parole, the Ministry of Justice has confirmed.
Antoni Imiela, whose victims included a 10-year-old girl he kidnapped at knife-point and put through a five-hour ordeal, was given seven life sentences but has only served just over 13 years.
The Parole Board confirmed that the Ministry of Justice has referred him for an parole review.
A spokeswoman said: "The review is following the standard six month process for all indeterminate sentence prisoners and will be reviewed on the papers in the first instance.
"The review may be concluded on the papers or alternatively it may be directed to an oral hearing.”
Imiela was previously living in Appledore, Kent and worked in Rye, East Sussex.
His attacks spanned Forest Hill and Wimbledon Common, London; Ashford, Kent; Earlswood, Woking and Epsom, Surrey; Stevenage, Hertfordshire; and Birmingham.
Local residents take part in a day-long experiment to cut traffic and improve air quality.

Bus services are being diverted away from a serious crash on Binley Road in Coventry.

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a woman was found in Hereford.
The woman, in her 50s, was found dead by officers at a property in Highmore Street on Tuesday evening.
The arrested man, a 40-year-old from the city, is in hospital receiving treatment for "injuries sustained in a road traffic collision",police said., external

Four people have arrested as part of an investigation into the supply of drugs in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Officers seized what they believed to be class A drugs during a search of a flat on Masons Way in the town.
A 35-year-old man from Stratford was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug and possession of class A drugs.
Two 16-year-old boys from Birmingham were arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with intent to supply. One is also under suspicion of supplying a controlled drug.
A 44-year-old woman from Stratford was also arrested on a warrant for failure to appear at court.

The Air Accidents Investigation Branch has taken away the plane that crashed in Worcestershire on Monday afternoon, killing two men.
It was on a training flight when it came down on Bredon Hill near Overbury.
More tests on the wreckage will now be carried out at Farnborough to try to work out what caused the deaths.
A Sandwell councillor has been found to have broken the authority's code of conduct, over his involvement in the sale of three public toilets.
A standards committee found Councillor Mahboob Hussain pushed through the sale to a family friend at below the market rate.

Officers raided the property on Beresford Place at 09:20 and have now released the woman while the substances are being tested.
