    Talk about blocking the driveway - this car left the road and become wedged between two ends of a garden wall.

    Fire crews were called to the scene on Little Aston Road, in Aldridge, Walsall, at about 19:30 yesterday and no driver was present.

    The Fire Service tweeted, external the vehicle is believed to have been used in burglaries around the area.

    The new Northern Ireland secretary, Karen Bradley, says she's looking forward to meeting "many different people, parties and other groups" as she takes on her new role.

    The Staffordshire Moorlands MP replaced James Brokenshire who resigned due to health issues.

    Mrs Bradley, 47, has been the MP for Staffordshire Moorlands since May 2010 and became a Home Office minister in 2014.

    She has been culture secretary since July 2016.

    Mrs Bradley said it was a "great honour" to take up the role and paid tribute to her predecessor, who she said had done an "outstanding job".

    Investigations are continuing into a plane crash in Worcestershire which left two people dead.

    The single-engine plane was heading to Gloucestershire Airport when it came down in foggy conditions at Bredon Hill near the village of Overbury.

    The Air Accidents Investigation Branch said it was sending a team to the site.

    Cameras are being introduced from today at a hospital car park in Shropshire , externalwith the aim of cracking down on shoppers taking up spaces for patients, visitors and staff.

    The Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust says some people have been parking at Bridgnorth Community Hospital but then heading into the town centre.

    It says the new system will read vehicle number plates when they enter the car park, with patients and visitors required to enter their car's details once inside the hospital's main entrance.

    They won't be charged, the trust says, as long as they leave the car park within 24 hours.
