  16. Review of taxi rankspublished at 16:04 Greenwich Mean Time 9 November 2016

A full review of taxi ranks is to take place in Coventry.

The news follows a meeting between taxi drivers and Coventry City Council earlier today after drivers asked for the reinstatement of a taxi rank on The Burges.

The rank was closed eight years ago but taxi drivers are still using it.

    Quote Message

It wasn't a straightforward situation where... you can just reinstate the rank on the existing facility because that's not feasible. There is a demand from the public in terms of taxi ranks in that area and so we're hopeful that we can come to some sort of logical conclusion."

The drug was used to combat morning sickness in pregnant woman and was developed and manufactured by a German pharmaceutical company.

We need to shame the German government into allowing British survivors access to these funds. They have an obligation for their actions of almost 40 years ago."
