A man has died after being hit on the railway line between Birmingham New Street and International.
British Transport Police says, external its officers are working to establish the man's identity and inform his next of kin.
The collision caused rush hour disruption for passengers in Birmingham and Coventry, with services still affected.
It's being reported in The Telegraph, external that two potential bidders for the Silverstone Circuit have walked away from talks about buying the venue, which is home to the British Grand Prix.
It's claimed both Jaguar Land Rover and the entrepreneur Laurence Tomlinson have given up on securing deals.
Circuit owners British Racing Drivers Club says it won't comment until any potential deal is in place. We've contacted Jaguar and Mr Tomlinson for comment.
Train services are expected to be delayed for the next hour following a collision between a person and a train near Birmingham International at about 06:50.
The line between Birmingham New Street and International has reopened but the disruption to passengers' journeys at rush hour is continuing throughout the morning as services attempt to get back to normal.

The railway line between Birmingham New Street and International has re-opened.
It was closed when a train hit a person near International earlier this morning, causing rush hour disruption for passengers.
Trains are likely to remain delayed for the next hour or so as services settle, but Virgin Trains' 08:50 service to London Euston has set off, calling at all stations - including International and Coventry.

Network Rail in Birmingham says buses will be available outside New Street's main entrance, near the TK Maxx store.
