    Quote Message

We apologise to anyone who wasn’t able to visit the park but we had to make sure that vehicles could safely enter and leave the site, especially emergency vehicles. We would advise people that the police will issue tickets if they are parking inappropriately. We are also working with Warwickshire Police to try and avoid this happening again.

In the two years I have been Foodbank Manager I have never seen our shelves so empty; not because we are receiving less food donations, but because we are seeing a lot more people seeking our help. Whilst we are not in any immediate danger of turning anyone away, it would be good if we could restock our warehouse.

A food donation drive is being held at Morrisions next Friday and Saturday and will ask people to consider buying "donations of long life UHT juice, tinned vegetables, tinned potatoes instant mashed potatoes, rice pudding, tinned fruit, and biscuits".

We obtained evidence of 197 vehicles which were parked along the road in contravention of parking rules, and will now be working with the Central Ticket Office to issue fixed penalty notices to all of those drivers.
