    A recovery operation is under way there after a crash involving at least three lorries.

    The carriageway remains closed between J2 and the M1.

    At least three lorries have been involved in a crash which has closed the M6 southbound, says the ambulance service.

    Defibrillators can deliver an electric shock to the chest to restore a person's heart to a normal rhythm.

    Many people worry they might harm a patient, despite the devices being suitable for use by untrained members of the public, the study found.

    Coventry University is to open a new "mini-hospital" to train the next generation of paramedics and nurses.

    The £59m Science and Health building, due to open on Monday, includes an operating theatre, birthing suite and two terraced houses set up as patient homes.

    More than 75% of all health professionals who graduated from Coventry University last year now work in the health service in the West Midlands.

    The University of Warwick has admitted there were "issues of process to be improved" after trainee doctors were told they will have to re-sit an exam paper.

    Trainees alerted authorities that nine of the 18 questions in their graduate entry exam appeared in the 2015 paper.

    They have been told they will re-sit the exam in nine days, angering the students, some of whom fear they may fail it.

    The students took the exam on 4 September as part of phase two of their four-year graduate entry MBChB course.

    A public footbridge linking the Central Six shopping centre to Spencer Avenue in Coventry is to be closed from today for resurfacing work.

    The council says the closure will be in place between the hours of 20:00 to 06:00 and last about a week.

    An investment worth about £7.5m has been secured for the redevelopment of Nuneaton town centre, the county council has announced.

    The Local Enterprise Partnership is to spend the allocation on a scheme to revamp the town's shopping offer.

    Local Conservative MP, Marcus Jones, said the town needed to offer more leisure facilities and increase the amount of people living in the town centre.
