    The government has confirmed that it's begun culling badgers in more areas of England to prevent the spread of TB in cattle.

    Seven new licences have been granted, covering parts of Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Cornwall, Devon and Dorset.

    Worcestershire County Cricket Club is mourning the loss of one of its most faithful servants, following the death of supporters association chairman Ken Mills after a long battle against cancer.  

    He was only the third chairman in the history of the WCCSA, which was has since raised close to an estimated £7m in 65 years since being formed in 1951.

    He was made an MBE for his services to cricket.

    After battling back from cancer, an Evesham man is paddling more than 60 miles down the River Avon to raise money for charity.

    Lifeboat volunteer Mike Dennick is hoping to raise cash for the RNLI, the south Worcestershire flood rescue team and Macmillan Cancer Support.

    There's very slow traffic on the A441 Birmingham Road in Hopwood, at the Lea End Lane junction in the roadworks area. 

    Congestion goes to the B4096 Longbridge Lane junction and to the Ash Lane junction.
