    Stephen Port, who murdered Anthony Walgate from Hull, will spend the rest of his life in prison. 

    He's been given a whole-life sentence for the murder of four young gay men he met on a dating app. 

    The 41-year-old from east London was found guilty on Wednesday of poisoning the men with doses of the drug GHB.

    Gary Birtles has been speaking to Sports Talk about his former team-mate Paul Futcher, who has lost his battle with cancer at the age of 60.

    Futcher started his career with Chester before moving to the Hatters along with twin brother Ron in 1974.

    The ex-England Under-21 international became the most expensive defender in English football when he moved to Manchester City for £350,000 in 1978.

    He spent six seasons with the Tykes before three with the Mariners, helping them win promotion to the second tier.

    Police are investigating two separate indecent exposure cases in Grimsby, external

    Both happened in the Cromwell Road area of the town, but at this stage the police don't know if the two cases are linked. 

    The first one was in Sackville Street at about 0600 last Wednesday, when a man on a bike exposed himself to a woman in her 40s. 

    On the same day, around 40 minutes later, a teenage girl was followed by a man riding a bike. 

    Both victims described the man as wearing dark clothing, with a scarf over his face.

    Hull plans to become well-known as a centre for skateboarding and to host an annual skateboarding festival, according to the city council.

    The 10-year plan is part of the city's cultural strategy and anticipates a boost as skateboarding becomes an Olympic sport in Tokyo 2020.

    The city already has 10 skateboarding facilities in its parks.

    Mark English, of indoor skate arena Rock City, said: "It's a really big step for Hull".

    Police are searching for a man who indecently exposed himself , externalto a teenager in South Cave.

    It happened when the 14-year-old was walking her dog down Northfield Close last Wednesday at around 1700. 

    The man is described as white, aged 25 to 35, with short brown hair and stubble. He was wearing dark joggers with white stripes down the sides and a jumper.

    Over the past few days you've been telling us that it's getting worse. 

    Some of you have been telling us about problems with traffic lights at the A63/Castle Street junction. 

    You've been saying that the green lights haven't been letting enough cars through... And it looks like you may have been right!

    The countdown is on for the turning on of the Christmas lights in Grimsby and Hull.

    This year the star pressing the big button at 19:00 GMT in Grimsby is Geoff Bartholomew, who was recently recognised with a "Lifetime Achievement Award" for almost 50 years as a sports coach around northern Lincolnshire.

    In Hull, rugby stars Kirk Yeaman and Danny Houghton from Hull FC will be switching on the lights along with the Lord Mayor of Hull, Sean Chaytor. 

    This will cap a fantastic year for Hull FC after they won the Challenge Cup at Wembley earlier this year.

    Police are investigating after an alleged security breach at a Yorkshire airport at the weekend. 

    A group of urban climbers, calling themselves Nightscape, posted a video on YouTube, showing them sneaking into a hangar at Doncaster Sheffield Airport and climbing into the cockpit of a plane. 

    The airport is widely used by people across our region.

    Police are appealing for information about the video.
