    A 35-year-old man suffered injuries to his head and face in an attack in a nightclub toilet at the weekend.

    Police in Cleethorpes say they're looking for a group of men after the assault in Barracuda on the resort's Grant Street.

    It took place between 02.30 and 03.30 on Saturday morning.

    The Environment Agency has issued a flood alert for North Sea coast at Bridlington. 

    High tides and wind are expected to cause localised flooding this evening and into the morning, particularly around Bridlington South Pier (pictured).

    Flood alerts are still in place for the River Foulness and Market Weighton catchment and Burstwick and Keyingham drains but water levels are expected to fall in these areas.

    Thousands of people living with degenerative conditions are losing part or all of their disability benefits after being reassessed. 

    Wendy Mitchell from Walkington rejects the assessors' insinuation that her Alzheimer's is getting better.

    "My life has changed. I was able to talk about anything and everything, but now I have lots of notes to refer to," Wendy Mitchell tells the BBC's Victoria Derbyshire programme.

    It comes as one resident's brand new home was vandalised (pictured) before she'd even moved in. 

    The police are warning parents they need to take control.

    The Marine Conservation Society has welcomed a big drop in the number of plastic bags being found on British beaches. 

    They say the introduction of the 5p plastic bag charge is responsible and it means there will be fewer hazards on the beaches that could harm wildlife.

    A teenager has suffered facial injuries after being attacked at Victoria Street bus station in Grimsby last Friday.

    The 17-year-old was on a bench with friends when he was attacked by a man "with a sharp implement".

    The attacker left the area on a red BMX and is in his mid-20s of slim build, around 6ft tall with short dark hair.

    A campaign to attract coach visitors to Beverley has raised the profile of the town and increased bookings by 30% according to the local council.

    Officials now plan to extend the campaign for another 12 months to attract more visitors during 2017.
