    Former Hull City player Brian Bulless has died at the age of 83. 

    He played for the Tigers between 1952 to 1963 and scored 36 goals in over 350 appearances for City. 

    He was generally acclaimed by many former team mates as one of the best left-sided players to play for the club.

    A mother told police signs of heroin might have been in her four-year-old daughter's system "because of passive smoking", a court has heard.

    Her mother Michaela Pyke, 37, of Ladysmith Road and Ms Pyke's partner John Rytting, 40, of Frederick street, both deny child cruelty.

    Extracts of police interviews were read out at Hull Crown Court. 

    In one, Ms Pyke admitted taking heroin but "never" in her daughter's presence.

    A campaign group fighting for fair fertility treatment says North East Lincolnshire is one of the worst places to live if you want IVF

    Fertility Fairness says because budgets have been cut, women in the region are only allowed one cycle of treatment on the NHS instead of the national guidance of three. 

    Susan Seenan from the group says women need more than one go at IVF.

    NHS North East Lincolnshire CCG, who pay for the treatment, has told us changing the number of cycles they provide was the only realistic way they could continue to provide a service that is under increasing demand in extremely challenging financial times for the NHS.

    Papas Fish & Chip restaurant has confirmed to BBC Radio Humberside they have bought Cleethorpes Pier and will start trading in early March. 

    They say all existing business up until that point will continue as normal and all of the pier staff will be kept on.

    A court has heard that a four-year-old girl from Grimsby was put in a "naughty corner" by a couple accused of child cruelty.

    Poppy Widdison died from a cardiac arrest at Sheffield Children's hospital. 

    The prosecution claim her mother Michaela Pyke of Ladysmith Road, Grimsby, and her partner John Rytting of Frederick Street in the town, 'fed' drugs to Poppy because she got in the way of their relationship. 

    They deny that charge but have admitted a number of other charges. The case continues at Hull Crown Court.

    A Grimsby man's been left fighting for his life, external after taking a so-called legal high. 

    The 43-year-old was found collapsed at a property in Thorgam Court (pictured) on Monday. 

    He's now at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in a critical condition after taking what police believe was a drug called 'spice'.

    Three buildings are to be demolished at Hull Royal Infirmary to make way for a new helipad.

    Currently the air ambulance lands on a field near the hospital, with patients then transferred by road.

    Health bosses say a new onsite landing zone will allow sick people to be attended to in hospital quickly.

    What do London's Olympic Stadium, Heathrow T5 and Sydney's harbour bridge have in common? 

    The answer is British Steel. Metal from Scunthorpe and Teesside has been used to build these structures.

    And now the company that has taken over Scunthorpe's steelworks says the weak pound has boosted exports from the plant. 

    It's been 10 years since the site in North Lincolnshire started making rail tracks and now that is the most profitable part of the business. 

    It's exported as far afield as Saudi Arabia and Panama and now British Steel is on track to return to profit next year.

    There's calls for help to reduce speeding in Cottingham.

    North East Lincolnshire council's Facebook page has been inundated with offers of help for a poorly dog found abandoned in a woods in Grimsby.

    He was found on Friday in Weelsby Woods and the council's looking for any information about the dog. 

    He's now warm, being fed and given lots of love.
