    MPs have been discussing how much detail the government must show of the negotiating proposals for leaving the EU before the Article 50 exit mechanism is triggered.

    Seventeen people charged with violent disorder at a Grimsby Town game have appeared in court.

    The 15 men and two teenagers from the Grimsby area were arrested after fans clashed after the Mariners' friendly against Sheffield United in July. 

    After the hearing at Grimsby Magistrates Court the case was sent to the Crown Court.

    East Riding of Yorkshire Council has to make savings of £61m over the next five years and officials want to know which services are important to you. 

    The authority is asking residents for their views on where the  budget should be spent in the next year. 

    The council says it needs to think about doing things differently, without making cuts to services.

    A new helicopter pad will be built at Hull Royal Infirmary after councillors approved the plans.

    Three buildings behind the hospital will be knocked down to make way for the emergency landing pad.

    The trust says it'll speed up the handover of patients.

    A memorial bench for 12-year-old Jessica Lawson from Kirk Ella who died on a school trip to France will be installed in the village, despite being turned down by the parish council. 

    East Riding of Yorkshire Council has agreed to pay for and install the black and red bench. 

    The council says the design has been agreed with Jessica's parents.

    These pictures show some of the problems on the A180 yesterday when there were five separate crashes and 11 hours of road closures.

    Police blamed yesterday's problems on fog and say just because the speed limit's 70mph does not mean motorists should drive at 70mph in any conditions.

    Police are trying to put together the circumstances that led to a fatal accident in East Yorkshire.

    Cyclist Ian Milner, 55, from Driffield died in a collision with a white Iveco Tipper truck on the B1253 between Octon and Sledmere on Friday 25 November.

    Police want to speak to anyone who might have seen Mr Miller before the accident.

    Community services across the East Riding will be provided by City Health Care Partnership from April.

    They've been awarded a five-year contract of around £27m per year.

    Humber NHS Foundation Trust's current contract to run services will finish at the end of March. 

    The East Riding Clinical Commissioning Group says the new contract will help address challenges such as the demands of an increasing and ageing population.
