Hull 2017, the team behind the City of Culture, have teamed up with Humberside Fire and Rescue Service to create what they've called a "unique head-turning fully wrapped fire engine".
The brand new engine will form part of the round the clock emergency service cover and will first be housed at East Hull, before moving to the new Hull Central Fire Station on Spring Street.
It will be fully operational, but will also feature at community and cultural events throughout the year.
Quote MessageLike the blade, we have kept this engine as our little secret for a number of weeks and hope that the people of Hull appreciate our small contribution to what will be a great year for Hull."

The Children's Commissioner for England says she is investigating how children will be protected across the country following the death of Poppy Widdison from Grimsby.
The four-year-old died after being fed drugs by her mother and ex-partner.
Yesterday they were both jailed for thirteen years for child cruelty and drug offences.
Commissioner Anne Longfield says there was a failure to judge the appropriate level at which services should intervene.
Child protection thresholds will now be looked at to see if they need to be lowered.
