    Private hire taxi companies may soon have to comply with a "score on the door" system if plans by East Riding Council are approved.

    It's a scheme recommended by the council to promote and recognise good practice. 

    Firms would be given a "star rating" after an assessment on things like customer service and record keeping. 

    Tina Holtby, licensing manager at the council, says the move would help maintain consistent standards:

    A display of ceramic poppies in Hull city centre is to come down today after almost two months.

    The weeping window attracted thousands of visitors after being installed at the front of the Maritime Museum. 

    It was made as part of commemorations of the centenary of World War One.

    Hull City have been relegated from the Premier League following yesterday's defeat at Crystal Palace. 

    The Tigers were beaten 4-0, and manager Marco Silva has said he will meet the club to discuss his future.

    Silva took charge in January until the end of the season and led Hull to six wins in 17 league games.
