    The official supporters club at Grimsby Town says it's "bitterly disappointed" that no action is going to be taken against Stevenage FC, following allegations that stewards asked female fans to show their bras during security checks.

    The Mariners Trust complained to Stevenage FC after the clubs met on 19 August.

    The English Football League (EFL) said it had "undertaken a comprehensive review," but said that no specific action is to be taken under its rules.

    In a statement on its Facebook page, external, the Mariners Trust described it as a "whitewash."

    Humberside Police say she hasn't been seen since 16:00 BST yesterday and officers are appealing for help in finding her, external.

    She was last seen at her home on Newland Avenue.

  6. More flats to be demolished on North East Lincolnshire housing estatepublished at 11:26 British Summer Time 26 October 2017

    Seven more blocks of flats are going to be pulled down on the Washdyke Estate in Immingham.

    Last year Shoreline Housing announced they were to empty and demolish a number of blocks on the estate.

    The housing association has now said that following a consultation with residents another seven blocks of flats will be pulled down.

    Humberside Police say they are stepping up patrols in an area of Hull, following a night of anti-social behaviour.

    Officers say they had a number of reports of disorder overnight in and around the Homethorpe area.

    A railway bridge in Hull is among the most hit by lorries over the last eight years.

    Figures released by Network Rail show Stoneferry Bridge has been hit 37 times since April 2009.

    Network Rail has started a new 'Bridge Bash' campaign aimed at HGV drivers and haulage companies.

    It says the railways suffer almost 2,000 strikes every year, costing the taxpayer around £23m in damages and delays.

    Two men have been injured in a car crash at Tetney, near Grimsby.

    One man, in his 40s, was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.

    Another man was also injured, though not as seriously.

    A grey Alfa Romeo and a silver Peugeot 303 were involved in the accident at 18:30 yesterday.

    That's what is on offer at a new cat cafe which is opening today in Hull.

    It's been opened by Amy Donoghue, who runs the Not Just Pets charity.

    Two takeaway delivery drivers have had their cars stolen in Hull as they left their cars to drop off food, according to Humberside Police.

    Detectives say both thefts happened within 10 days of each other, one in Cottingham and the other in Hull.

    They say they believe that bogus callers are ordering food specifically to steal vehicles and are warning drivers not to leave their cars running when they deliver food.

    NHS England says it is looking at how it can improve access to dentists in East Yorkshire.

    The Beverley and Holderness MP Graham Stuart says many people are having to travel miles to Hull and Cottingham to see an NHS dentist, because of long waiting lists where they live.

    The receptionist of a Doncaster hotel has been praised for her help and quick thinking in delivering a baby in a service station car park.

    Karen Dyass came to the aid of Heather and Matthew McSharry from Scawby in North Lincolnshire, when Heather's waters broke on the way to hospital.

    She was guided by medics over the phone but had to clear the baby's airways as he was not breathing.

    Mrs McSharry said: "I cannot begin to imagine what would have happened if Karen was not there."
