Hull's Holderness Road Library is to be moved to a new site at East Park.
The council's cabinet has approved plans to move the library from its current location at Mount Pleasant.
In a public consultation, almost half of the people who responded said they'd like to see a new library in a different location to the proposed East Park site.

An application by energy firm Orsted to extend the life of a weather radar station in East Yorkshire has been rejected by councillors.
The radar, at Tunstall, monitors weather conditions at the Westermost Rough offshore windfarm.
It's been operating for nearly 18 months, but the firm had applied for a 12-month extension.
Local residents had pressed councillors to reject the application, claiming it was an eyesore and saying they were worried about its impact on their health.
Orsted Energy has said there is no evidence to support these fears.
One village, Barney Nisbet, has told me he's "ecstatic" at the decision by East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

A decision is expected to be made later on plans for a new supermarket and pub in Barton.
The application, by Lidl, to build on Top Field is recommended for approval despite opposition from residents.
Lidl says it believes the development would enhance local customer choice and says it's committed to keeping green areas of the site.

A Crimestoppers reward of £10,000 is being offered for information about a Hull mother who's been missing since April.
Renata Antczak, 49, was last seen near her home in Hull after dropping her daughter off at school on 25 April.
Police have previously said Ms Antczak's disappearance was being treated as a "potential murder inquiry".
Her dentist husband, Majid Mustafa, 47, faces two counts of conspiracy to administer a noxious substance and a hearing is due to take place on 8 January.

Police say they're "extremely concerned" for the safety of a missing man from Hull.
David Ogden was last seen at about midday yesterday.
He's said to be about 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build with fair hair.
Police believe he has contacts in Manchester, Scarborough and Sheffield.
Anyone with information about Mr Ogden's whereabouts is being asked to contact police.
Proposed cuts to a volunteer pregnancy and breastfeeding peer support service in Hull won't now take place, it's been confirmed.
Hull City council says it's moved money around to avoid slashing the Doula Project.
The authority's cabinet has approved the budget for the coming two years today and it is due to go before full council next month.

From today, if you're caught and charged with drink-driving in Lincolnshire you'll be named by police on social media.
It marks the start of the force's Think Don't Drink campaign over the festive period.
Critics argue the police are acting as judge and jury by officially naming those charged with drink-driving.
But police say the names of those facing prosecution do still appear in publicly accessible court listings:

Three suspected arson attacks are being investigated by police in Grimsby.
All the incidents happened in East Marsh between 21:30 and 22:00 on Tuesday 12 December.
Rubbish was deliberately set alight close to properties in Victor Street (pictured), Stanage Walk and Tom Hammond Way, police believe.
All the fires were safely extinguished and nobody was injured.

From today, you'll be named on social media if you're charged with drink-driving in Lincolnshire.
It's all part of Lincolnshire Police's Think Don't Drink campaign, external:
The force says it hopes it will make people think twice before getting behind the wheel.
A recent study by the Press Association found that Lincolnshire Police charges more offenders than anywhere else in the UK.
Between November 2016 and December 2017, the force made more than 1,000 arrests for drink-driving and more than 150 arrests for driving under the influence of drugs.
Nearly 70% of those people were charged.

The discovery of a body in Lincolnshire is being linked to the disappearance of a teenager who went missing after a night out in Cleethorpes.
Police investigating the whereabouts of 19-year-old Liam Toner say the body of a young man was found at Holton-le-Clay just before midnight on Saturday.
The death is being treated as unexplained.

Police are looking for a man who is believed to have indecently exposed himself in Hull earlier this month.
It happened as a woman was cycling on James Reckitt Avenue at about 09:30 on Thursday 7 December.
He's described as white, in his early 30s, about 5ft 9ins tall, with dark hair and stubble.
He was wearing a dark zip-up tracksuit top and bottoms and a beanie hat with a Hull FC badge.
Anyone with information about his identity is being asked to contact police.

Humberside Police has published photos of several suspects asking for them to hand themselves in before Christmas.
The force says it's stepping up patrols to find them.
Hazim Rashid Ali (left), 35,from Hull, and Yousef Maruf (middle left), 22, from Hull, are both wanted in connection with rape.
John Everett (middle right), 26, from Hull, is a suspect in a burglary investigation, while Kelly Tuttle (right), 33, from Hull, is wanted in connection with theft.
Det Supt Gary Hooks says: "We're also appealing to the public to contact us with any information about the whereabouts of such individuals.
"We're making every effort to ensure that these wanted people are caught and will face any charges they may have against them," he adds.
