    A man has sustained serious injuries to his leg during an assault in Grimsby.

    It happened on Corporation Road at about 19:15 on 21 January.

    The victim was with his partner when they were approached by a man who asked for a cigarette.

    The victim refused and was assaulted by the man who ran off in the direction of Alexandra Road.

    The suspect is described as white, stocky, 5ft 7in, wearing a black top, grey jogging bottoms and a black woollen hat.

    The junction of Springfield Avenue and Hilderthorpe Road will be closed between now and early April while new drains are put in.

    There's been criticism about the disruption caused, but the council insists the work will help reduce the risk of flooding.

    Nearly 60 fishermen who died at sea 50 years ago in what's known as the triple trawler tragedy have been remembered at a ceremony in Hull.

    Three fishing trawlers sank in January and February 1968, with the loss of 58 men who were based in Hull.

    The St Romanus sank in the North Sea on 11 January, with the Kingston Peridot lost just over a fortnight later off the coast of Iceland. The 20-strong crew aboard both ships all died.

    The Ross Cleveland was the third vessel to sink, with just one survivor.

    Trawler tragedy

    An anchor in the grounds of Valiant Drive in Hull - where the blocks of flats are named after the three trawlers - has been dedicated to those who died.

    Speaking at the dedication ceremony, councillor John Black said the tragedy had a traumatic impact on the local community.

    The Humber Bridge Board has told the BBC that it's hopeful it will be business as normal for the Humber Bridge Farmers Market.

    It's after traders were sent letters yesterday saying the current team which runs it, A1 Events will stop running the monthly market.

    They left empty handed and ran off in the direction of the rugby club.

    Hull North MP Diana Johnson has told the BBC that parts of the city are being blighted by anti-social behaviour.

    Ms Johnson said 'yobbish' behaviour, drug dealing and youths on motorbikes are among the biggest problems.

    Two vehicles from people believed to have been involved in hare coursing at the weekend have been seized by police.

    Officers received reports of hare coursing on Saturday in the Ealand area of North Lincolnshire.

    With the help of local farmers, three men from Blackpool, Stoke on Trent and Stourport were interviewed and will be summoned to court on suspicion of wildlife offences.

    Their vehicles, two Honda CVRs, were seized during the operation.

    Hundreds of men, women and children are expected to light up the Humber Bridge with glow sticks later.

    Light up the Night is aimed at showing solidarity with the victims of sexual violence.

    Among those taking part will be a mother whose children were sexually abused.

    She says they're showing their support for the event after The Blue Door charity rescued her family:

    Work is under way on a £10m expansion of an off-shore wind base in Grimsby.

    It will make it the biggest site of its kind in the country, eventually supporting five wind farms off the east coast and is expected to double the number of jobs there to about 300.

    Matthew Wright, managing director of renewables business Orsted, says it's an important project for northern Lincolnshire:

    Politicians in North Lincolnshire are to meet senior staff from Thames Ambulance later.

    The non-emergency transport service has been the subject of complaints over patients missing vital appointments and some being stranded at hospitals for hours.

    North Lincolnshire Council's Health Scrutiny Panel will also meet representatives of the local Clinical Commissioning Group.

    Thames Ambulance says improvements have been made.
