    Police in West Yorkshire are asking for information about the whereabouts of Mantas Eriminas who is wanted on warrant.

    Officers say they have been looking for the 32-year-old Lithuanian for some time.

    Although he used to live in Horbury, Wakefield, officers believe he may recently have been living in Hull.

    Anyone who has any information about his location is being asked to contact police.

    The cold weather may mean more potholes on the roads, but it seems at least one West Yorkshire council has extra staff out and about to tackle the problem.

    Kirklees Council says it's working through a long list of potholes and it's throwing extra road-mending crews at the problem...including using what's called a Multihog.

    The date for the marriage of Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie has been announced.

    The daughter of Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, will marry Jack Brooksbank on Friday 12 October.

    As was previously announced by the couple, the ceremony will take place at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.

    Money will be available to help staff after the closure of Eggborough Power Station, which was announced earlier today, it's being promised.

    The power station, near Goole, will shut down before the end of this year with its owners saying it's no longer "economically viable".

    The York, North Yorkshire and East Riding Enterprise Partnership, external, which brings together public and private sector organisations, says European Social Funds already allocated to the region will be used.

    In a statement, the partnership says: "Our area's historic specialism in energy generation has left a legacy of energy infrastructure and a skilled workforce that will continue to underpin our economy in the years to come.

    "This will not be the end of energy generation in our area," it adds.

    Roller Derby is one of the fastest growing female sports in the world.

    It's massive in the USA and growing in popularity in this country too, with the 2017 world cup currently taking place in Manchester.

    Currently there are 12 teams in Yorkshire alone, one of them being the Hallam Hellcats, which includes members Chelsea Abbott and Jo Hardwick who told me how to play the game:

    The Six Nations Championship gets underway this weekend with the England team being fuelled by Sheffield.

    Food Fusion, who are based on Trippet Lane in the city centre are supplying meals for the team throughout the tournament.

    They also supply the Sheffield Steelers and Hallamshire Tennis and Squash Club, which is home to former world number one, Nick Matthew.

    The racehorse trainer Malcolm Jefferson has died after a long struggle with cancer. He was 71.

    Malcolm Jefferson, based in the Malton racing centre in North Yorkshire since 1981, trained a string of big-name jump racing horses including Dato Star and Cape Tribulation.

    His daughter Ruth has taken over the training licence at the family's stables in Malton.

    He was the first British trainer to win the Champion Bumper at the Festival - with Dato Star in 1995.

    A family statement said: "It is with great sadness that we have to announce the death of Malcolm Jefferson after a brave battle with cancer."

    It's a big night in Penistone later as the gym in the market town's leisure centre re-opens after extensive work by volunteers and donations from the public.

    The celebrations begin at 19:00 and will see the mayor, Roger Hinchliffe officially cutting the ribbon at the site.

    The money raised has been used to repair dry rot on the gym floor and to refurbish the weights room.

    Some cyclists in West Yorkshire say they still don't feel safe on the county's roads, despite a year-long police safety initiative.

    A special event to acknowledge people who've given their time to improve life for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Bradford has been organised.

    The Bradford Pride Awards will cover four categories including LGBT friendly organisation, LGBT Champion, Best LGBT Group and Young Active Citizen.

    Winners will be decided by a panel made up of representatives from the LGBT community, Bradford Council and West Yorkshire Police.

    South Yorkshire Police are appealing for the public's help to locate missing man Peter Cooper.

    The 37-year-old left his home in the Hatfield area of Doncaster at about 06:00 this morning and his family have had no contact with him since.

    They say they're becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

    Any information you have on Mr Cooper's whereabouts can be passed onto the force via 101.

    Passengers on Northern and East Midlands trains travelling from Sheffield to Nottingham can expect delays on their journeys due to an earlier broken down train just south of Chesterfield.

    It has now been removed and the tracks are clear once more, but disruption is likely to remain until lunchtime today.

    A replacement bus services is currently running between Chesterfield railway station and Nottingham for the next couple of hours until timetables get back to normal.
