    Have you seen this man, he's been missing from his home in Bradford since yesterday.

    Gareth Shutt was last seen in the Bolton area of the city at 18:00.

    The 32-year-old has tattoos on his arms of a dragon, a skull wearing a top hat with a rose in its mouth and an England flag.

    Police say he usually travels by train from Frizinghall and may have gone to see friends in the Keighley area.

    Five shops in South Yorkshire which failed a police test on who they were willing to sell knives to are being offered 'crime education' by South Yorkshire Police.

    Officers visited 19 shops, meaning that more than 20% of them failed the test purchasing operation.

    The visits were part of an ongoing national effort by police to reduce knife crime, Operation Sceptre, external.

    The boss of York-based Persimmon has bowed to pressure over the millions in bonuses he is set to reap and says he will set up a charitable trust.

    Jeff Fairburn has faced intense criticism over an incentive plan that could see him receive share options worth more than £100m.

    "I recognise and profoundly regret that Persimmon's strong performance over the last few years is being eclipsed by the controversy surrounding the 2012 LTIP (long-term incentive plan) award," he said.

    "I am setting up a private charitable trust which I plan to use to benefit wider society over a sustained period of time by supporting, in a very meaningful way, my chosen charities."

    The Met Office is warning of snow for parts of West and North Yorkshire today.

    Snow is likely to fall over the high ground of the Pennines.

    Some roads and railways are likely to be affected, with longer journey times by road, bus and train services.

    About five centimetres of snow is possible on higher ground, the Met Office says.

    The swimming pool areas at Barnsley Metrodome Leisure centre have had to close.

    We're told that there's not enough water getting into them, meaning they're too shallow to be used.

    The problem developed overnight and the closure will be bad news for many families as it's now half-term in Barnsley.

    A man is due to appear in court later following a series of incidents in Leeds on Saturday.

    He has been charged with robbery, attempted robbery and possession of an offensive weapon.

    David Riley, 36, of Nowell Crescent, Leeds, is due to appear at the city's magistrates' court this morning.

    A leading GP in West Yorkshire is claiming up to half of people suffering from serious lung conditions could have been misdiagnosed.

    It's estimated that more than one million people in the UK are living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) which includes diseases like emphysema and chronic bronchitis.

    Nearly 10,000 people living in Bradford have been told they have the condition.

    But Dr Catherine Hickman, who helps GPs in Bradford and Leeds diagnose lung disorders, says diagnosis is often confused:

    Fir Vale School in Sheffield is open as normal this morning after an incident there yesterday.

    A car was driven at speed in the school grounds on Tuesday morning before it crashed into the school's front doors.

    No one was injured but the school was closed for the day on police advice.

    Two men who were arrested yesterday, one aged 23 and the other aged 20, remain in custody.

    A new film written by two Yorkshire moviemakers and shot in York is to be premiered in London next month.

    Scott And Sid tells the story of two awkward teenagers who meet at school.

    They write a list of goals and begin pursuing each one in turn to create what they hope will be a better life.

    Filmmakers Sid Sadowskyj and Scott Elliott, who both grew up in Bradford, says: "It was clear pretty early on we wanted to film in York.

    "Ultimately the film is an advert for York as a location."

    The school scenes in the film were all shot in York's Huntington School.

    Scott and Sid raised £1m to make their debut film and neither had written, produced or directed before.

    An 18-year-old man from South Yorkshire has been charged with committing a terrorist offence.

    Jack Coulson, of Roman Gardens, Mexborough, was arrested yesterday on suspicion of possessing a record or document that may useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.

    He was charged last night under Section 58 of the Terrorism Act and was remanded in custody.

    He's due to appear via via video link at Westminster Magistrates' Court later.

    Wildlife off Yorkshire's coastlines will continue to suffer unless people cut back on how much plastic they use, the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust has warned.

    The trust says seals and seabirds are among the creatures getting caught in rubbish or swallowing plastic.

    Charging for plastic bags has helped, according to the trust, but more needs to be done.

    People campaigning against plans to close Huddersfield's A&E department and move it to Halifax are aiming to stage a race later in a bid to highlight their concerns over journey times.

    They're staging an unofficial race between runners and a car to show how long it takes to get between the two sites.

    Today's run will be between Holmfirth - which is served by the Huddersfield Royal Infirmary - and the Calderdale Hospital in Halifax.

    NHS managers want all emergency and high-risk care to go to the Calderdale Royal Hospital, but campaigners say they're worried about journey times between parts of Kirklees and Halifax, saying lives could be put at risk.

    People living in some parts of York have been threatened with fines if they don't put their bin bags out on the right day.

    This follows what City of York Council calls a "dramatic increase" in the number of bags being put out incorrectly.

    The authority says it's concerned about the risk of attracting rats.

    It's now written to people in the Clifton area warning those who ignore the rules on rubbish that they may be liable to a £60 fine.

    Have you seen Anthony Conroy? He's 75-years-old, has dementia and he's gone missing.

    He's from Cragg Vale in West Yorkshire and hasn't been seen since about 15:00 near the Robin Hood pub on Cragg Road in Mytholmroyd.

    He's described as white, about 5ft tall, of slim build, with short receding grey hair. He was last seen wearing a dark coloured anorak and trousers.

    Anyone with information about Mr Conroy's whereabouts is being asked to contact police.
