Arson attacks 'bring community together'published at 13:05 British Summer Time 5 June 2018
A community leader at a Leeds mosque targeted in an arson attack this morning says local residents will not be divided by the arsonist's actions.
The doorways of a mosque and a gurdwara in Beeston were set on fire in the early hours of this morning.
West Yorkshire Police said the attacks were being linked and the premises were "specifically targeted".
Amjad Hussain, secretary of the Jamia Masjid Abu Huraira Mosque, said: "Something like like this always brings us together as a community."
Mr Hussain confirmed no-one was hurt in the fire at the mosque.
