A boy who died after he was hit by a van near Leeds earlier this week as he was riding his bike has been named by police as Charlie Fox.
The 14-year-old, from Seacroft, died in hospital after being injured in the collision on Bullerthorpe Lane at about 19:10 on Monday.
He was with two friends, one of whom remains in hospital in a stable condition, when they were hit by the van which was overtaking a car.
The driver of the van, a 28-year-old man from Castleford, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and was later released under investigation.

The family of a 13-year-old Leeds boy who died in a road crash last month have been burgled as they attended his funeral.
Thomas Easton, from Morley, died after being hit by a pick-up truck on Wide Lane on 19 September and his funeral was held on Tuesday 16 October.
The family had locked their house, on Newlands Crescent in Morley, at about noon as they left with the funeral procession, but it was later broken into via a rear kitchen window.
The offender searched the house before taking some cans of lager and the keys to the family’s white Vauxhall Insignia, which was parked on the driveway.
Inside the car was money raised from a collection for the paediatric ward where Thomas had been treated and it was either taken or destroyed when the car was later burned out.

The UK's first operational tram-train service is due to roll out of the depot tomorrow in Sheffield.
The project, which is expected to cost £75m, will allow trams to run on the Sheffield Supertram network, but also switch to train tracks to go to Rotherham.
The project is three years overdue.

A West Yorkshire man described as a "highly dangerous individual" has been jailed for life after he groomed a teenage girl online, sexually abused her in several hotels and raped an adult woman four times.
Alan Higgins, 61, of no fixed abode, has been told he must serve a minimum of 11 and a half years in prison.
Higgins contacted his then 13-year-old victim on social media and pretended to be about the same age as her and, after a period of time, he went to another county to meet her.
He then sexually abused her in several hotels and other premises across the UK.
The abuse only came to light in February 2016 when West Yorkshire Police officers went to Higgins' house to search it for indecent images.
It then became apparent he had been abusing the teenager.
As the investigation continued, officers discovered Higgins had also raped a woman between 2005 and 2007.

A fire which destroyed a pub building in Bridlington was not started deliberately, according to Humberside Police.
The Londesborough Hotel, on West Street, is now being demolished after being badly damaged in the fire last Wednesday.
Police say they are no longer treating the blaze as arson following specialist investigations.
A man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in Leeds.
Christopher Lewis, 24, was shot and killed in Reginald Street, Chapeltown, in August, in what police say was a targeted attack.
A 37-year-old man from the Oakwood area has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
He is the 15th person to be arrested as part of the force's investigation.
Leeds United has issued a statement after player Mallik Wilks pleaded not guilty in court earlier to violent disorder and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The 19-year-old was arrested over an incident at this year's Leeds West Indian Carnival.
In the statement, the club says: "Leeds United are aware of the criminal charges received by Mallik Wilks following an incident which occurred in August 2017.
"The club will monitor the progress of the case before making further comment."

Police are searching for two men after a mugging in the centre of Huddersfield on Sunday.
It happened on Castlegate at about 17:40.
A man, who is in his 20s, was walking along New Street when two men came up to him and started a conversation.
As they crossed Castlegate the men grabbed him and demanded he empty his pockets.
He handed over some money, but then managed to run away from them.
Police say they're looking for two white men, aged in their mid to late 30s.
One was wearing a blue woolly hat and a blue Slazenger tracksuit, the other is described as having "a gaunt face".
An operation to rescue the last gannet on Bempton Cliffs in East Yorkshire is due to start later.
A team from the RSPCA is trying to save the bird, which was noticed after all of the other gannets left the breeding grounds at the weekend.

The first of 100 replacement war memorial trees have been planted in a Sheffield park.
Last year, the council agreed to fell and replace 41 trees, that were planted in 1919 to remember fallen soldiers from World War One, as it was too expensive to save them.
Now, the first tree has been planted in Weston Park as part of the city’s commemoration of the centenary of the end of World War One.
A total of 100 trees will be planted in numerous parks across the city, according to the council.
Veterans attended the planting and, in memory of fallen comrades from World War Two, placed sand from the Normandy landing beaches in the tree pit.
Parts of Filey beach in North Yorkshire have been cordoned off after a walker discovered something which concerned them, according to the Coastguard.
The walker contacted the Coastguard who have now sent pictures of "unconfirmed historical ordnance" to the Explosives Ordnance Disposal Unit.
The Coastguard says: "Sealing off the beach is only a precautionary measure. We don't believe it's a huge bomb."
