    Drivers face delays of "well over 90 minutes", according to Highways England.

    The Prime Minister Theresa May has won a confidence vote by Conservative MPs - but not all Yorkshire's Conservative MPs are pleased with the outcome.

    Mrs May won the vote by a margin of 117.

    Andrea Jenkyns, MP for Morley and Outwood, who voted against the PM, said: "Not the way I wanted it to go, but I am a democrat and therefore accept the result.

    "I will continue to fight to honour our referendum result. So if the PM's bad deal comes to parliament, I will not support it."

    Two men have been charged after an attack on two homeless people sleeping in a tent on a Hull street.

    CCTV footage showed a man jumping on top of the tent, which was pitched on Whitefriargate, while another filmed it and laughed on 30 November.

    Jake Mann, 29, of no fixed abode and Jamie Nickell, 26, of Addison Drive, Lincoln, are charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

    They are due to appear before Hull magistrates on 14 January.

    Both have been bailed but are barred from entering the city unless they were to attend court, police said.

    A 27-year-old man, from the Lincoln area, who was in custody after handing himself in to police, has been released without charge.

    Humberside Police said it had found "more permanent accommodation" for the men inside the tent, who were unhurt in the incident.

    Archbishop John Sentamu says he's not experienced racist abuse since being in York, although elsewhere in the past he's been spat on as well as being stopped and searched.

    The Archbishop of York says he's not "experienced a single incident of racism" in the city, unlike during his time in London.

    Speaking to Jeremy Vine on BBC Radio 2, he said: "When I was in Stepney, I was stopped and searched and some men spat at me when I was coming away from the Queen's Jubilee celebration."

    He also said the "sheer beauty" of living in Yorkshire was a reason to have "a little bit of positive life about ourselves".

    Have you seen Gareth Shutt? Police are seriously concerned for his welfare after he went missing from his home in Keighley.

    Mr Shutt, 33, was last seen at Keighley railway station on 10 December.

    Police believe he boarded the 19:42 service to Lancaster and got off some time before 21:15.

    Mr Shutt is described as being of slim build and about 5ft 6ins tall.

    Anyone with information about Mr Shutt's whereabouts is being asked to contact police.

    An attempt's been made to sabotage the railway track in Bridlington overnight.

    The grooves on a pedestrian crossing were packed with stones and concrete was laid on the line in what police are calling a "disturbing" incident.

    Officers said: "This could have caused damage to a train if not a serious accident."

    Anyone with information about the incident is being asked to contact police.

    Yorkshire MPs who support Theresa May as Prime Minister have welcomed the result of the confidence vote.

    Despite a rebellion from her own MPs, Mrs May won the vote.

    Of 317 Conservatives, 200 voted in favour and 117 against.

    Her leadership can't now be challenged for a year.

    Pudsey MP Stuart Andrew said: "She's clearly won it. What we've got to do now is focus on getting this Brexit deal done so we can get on with the domestic agenda."

    Free sanitary products will be provided for schools, one-stop shops and libraries in Leeds, as part of the council's strategy to combat period poverty.

    Leeds will be the first city in England to provide sanitary protection for young women who struggle financially.

    The scheme will also lobby the government to remove tax on sanitary protection.

    The council will agree on the final strategy next week.

    Conservative MPs will vote from 18:00 to 20:00, with a result expected an hour or so later.

    An office development in Hull, built on a derelict dry dock site, could be extended to provide more space for technology companies.

    A further two buildings could be added to the development in the Fruit Market area of the city, which is called @TheDock.

    Plans have been submitted by the developers, Wykeland Group, who describe the site as "one of the UK's leading digital clusters".

    Property director David Donkin said: "@TheDock has proven to be hugely successful, transforming a derelict dry dock site into a thriving community of tech-based innovation and enterprise."

    The new buildings are planned for completion in 2020 and would provide extra space for new businesses and companies already based on the site.

    The driver of a car whose passenger was shot dead by police has been jailed for 18 years over a gun offence.

    Yassar Yaqub was shot and killed in the passenger seat of Mohsin Amin's Audi by police near the M62 in West Yorkshire on 2 January 2017.

    Amin, 32, was sentenced after he was convicted of conspiracy to possess a firearm and ammunition with intent to endanger life at Leeds Crown Court.

    Another defendant David Butlin, 39, was handed an 18-month jail term.

    He and a third defendant, Rexhino Arapaj, 28, were cleared of the same charge as Amin but Butlin was found guilty of possessing an offensive weapon.

    Three men, wearing balaclavas and armed with a blade, stole cash from a post office in Kirklees yesterday.

    Three men entered the shop on Greenside in Cleckheaton at about 16:50.

    Armed with a weapon, they threatened staff and made off with a quantity of cash.

    All three men are described as white, of slim build and between 5ft 7in to 5ft 10in.

    They all were wearing balaclavas and dark clothing.

    Police are urging anyone with information to get in touch.
