A Hull woman who killed her neighbour in the garden of her own home has been given an indeterminate hospital order.
Susan Atkinson (pictured), 64, was found dead with a head injury in the garden of her house in The Ryedales in October last year.
In March, Sherry Moore, 55, of The Ryedales, admitted manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility and has today been sentenced.
Police said Moore, who had suffered with mental health issues for a number of years and was being treated in the community, would no longer pose a danger to the public and will receive the care she needs.
After the case, Mrs Atkinson's family said they had been promised by the NHS that an internal investigation would be carried out to identify if anything could have been done differently.
In a statement, they said: “Susan was completely unaware of the danger lurking so close to her home when she was violently attacked and killed in her own back garden - a place where she should have been safe."

Army officers from Yorkshire have filled a cask of whisky to commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
A group of officers joined together to buy cask number 1944 at the Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery, based in Hunmanby, North Yorkshire.

A West Yorkshire MP's made a fresh call in the Commons for a directly-elected mayor for the whole of Yorkshire in order to boost international trade after Brexit.
The idea, which is supported by the government, hasn't come to fruition because of a split among councils in the region.
But the Labour MP for Keighley, John Grogan (pictured), said it would help promote Yorkshire overseas.
"Will ministers say a word of praise to the work of the Yorkshire and Humber International Trade team based in Barnsley?", he asked in the Commons earlier.
"Would they not be more effective if they were accountable not to Whitehall, but to a directly-elected Yorkshire mayor?"
Responding, the International Trade Minister Graham Stuart - the MP for Beverley and Holderness - said he couldn't say whether it would happen.

West Yorkshire D-Day veteran Leslie Postill says he still has flashbacks from his experiences of the Normandy landings in 1944.
Able Seaman Mr Postill (pictured) was just 17-years-old when he signed up to the Royal Navy in 1941.
He was later awarded the Légion d'honneur for his bravery demonstrated at Sword Beach on 6 June 1944.
"I still have flashback seeing all the bodies," he said.

"His hand just came away from mine and he just floated away.
