Hundreds of staff at Drax power station, near Selby, are set to take part in a series of strikes starting next month in a row over pay.
Unite the union say the industrial action will impact on energy production but Drax say they will be able to cope.
A Drax spokesperson said: "Negotiations continue as we try to resolve the dispute and we have contingency plans in place to continue generating the electricity millions of homes and businesses rely on during the planned strike.”
