When Kayley and Joe Tilston's 280 guests sat down for their wedding breakfast they were treated to a sprawling feast.

The lavish banquet included sea bream, sea bass, ox, pork ribs and chicken, all created from surplus food.

But guests only found out the origin of their meal after they'd tucked in, with the big reveal by the bride and groom drawing "huge gasps" from across the room.

However, Mrs Tilston says their response to the meal at Victoria Hall was "incredible", adding that many headed back for second and third helpings.

Mrs Tilston, 34, says she and her new husband, 35, "try to avoid waste wherever possible".

"The average wedding breakfast can cost up to £25 per person or more, so with nearly 300 mouths to feed it made sense".

  11. Sheffield MP's office investigated over security failurepublished at 08:25 British Summer Time 13 August 2019

Allegations of a security failure at South Yorkshire MP Jared O'Mara's office are being investigated by the House of Commons.

    Jared O'Mara

The BBC has learned the Sheffield Hallam MP's chief of staff, Gareth Arnold, was not vetted by Parliament.

Mr Arnold, who is running the MP's office in his absence, had access to sensitive casework and the MP's email account on the parliamentary network.

The House of Commons said it had taken steps to "prevent unauthorised access to Mr O'Mara's parliamentary account".

During an investigation by BBC podcast, The Next Episode, Mr Arnold, 26, said: "I am running a constituency office on behalf of an MP without the required security clearance from the parliamentary authorities. It's crazy isn't it?"

Mr O'Mara has said he is "taking time out" to deal with his "mental health and personal issues" after it emerged he sent sexually inappropriate messages to a female employee.

Since the BBC published the podcast, Mr O'Mara's Twitter account and website have been taken down and when the BBC visited his office on Monday morning, it found the premises had been left vacant.

The Prime Minister has said some dangerous and prolific offenders should spend longer behind bars and that he wants criminals to be fearful, not the public.

Jacqueline Wileman, 58, was killed when she was hit by a stolen lorry at Brierley in Barnsley last year.

Four men in the lorry got between 10 and 13 years each for her death.

Her brother Johnny Wood says the country needs stronger sentences.

"If we keep letting people out onto the streets, the streets are just going to become full of criminals", he said.

"Lesser sentences don't help - we need harsher sentences".
