    The woman in charge of the RAF's air cadets says she feels proud to have been nominated for the Millies. 

    That's the name for the Military Awards which praises Britain's armed forces. The ceremony happened in London last night. 

    Air Commodore Dawn McCafferty runs the nationwide cadets operation from RAF Cranwell, near Sleaford.

    She didn't win the "Inspiring others" category in the end, but she said it's nice to be recognised.

    Here's official confirmation of that problem in Boston that Martin tweeted about earlier. 

    The A16 Sibsey Road in Boston is partially blocked and there's very slow traffic in both directions at the A52 Wainfleet Road junction, because of an accident.

    The owners of the Weirfield Wildlife Hospital in Lincoln have called it a day. 

    They say it's closing due to an increase in demand and it's time to retire after 27 years.

    Last year they had 2,600 animals through the door. Ali Foyster, pictured above with an injured fox, runs the sanctuary.

    She says all animals they've already got will be looked after, but they won't take any more in from 1 January.

    Princess Anne is in Lincolnshire today visiting St Botolph's Church in Boston. 

    The Princess Royal is patron of the Stump's Restoration Appeal. 

    In 2013 she visited the church, pictured below, days after it was flooded by a tidal surge.

    Later she'll officially open the Stump's new boiler house which has been completely revamped after being destroyed by the floods.

    Next year half of uniformed police in Lincolnshire will have been trained in using tasers. 

    The Police and Crime Commissioner Marc Jones says he backs the use of the so-called "less-lethal" weapon.

    The force has been named as having the highest proportion of taser trained officers in the UK. 

    Mr Jones says he and senior officers constantly monitor the use of them.

    More could be done to save Grimsby Ice Rink, according to one of the teams that uses it. 

    The Grimsby Ice Hockey club has raised concerns about the future of the venue ahead of a vote by North East Lincolnshire Councillors next week.

    The council says it invited groups to put forward plans to take on the running of an ice rink but the proposals it has had so far won't work without a large subsidy and it can't afford to keep paying towards the running costs.

    Older patients undergoing treatment for mental health problems can now relax in a new, specially designed suite at Boston Pilgrim Hospital

    Staff working at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s Rochford Unit, have spent the last few months transforming a former therapy room.

    It's designed to be a quiet place where patients can practise mindfulness techniques and enjoy a variety of therapeutic activities as part of their hospital recovery.

    The Lincolnshire MP Nick Boles has urged the Prime Minister to make sure 24 hour emergency care is restored to Grantham Hospital via text.

    The Conservative member for Grantham and Stamford is currently fighting cancer and therefore couldn't be present at Prime Ministers Questions at lunchtime today.

    However fellow Tory MP Robert Jenrick, said he'd received a message from Mr Boles asking him to raise the issue on his behalf.
