So thankfully the high tides have been and gone but here's a round up of what the situation's been like along the Lincolnshire coast this evening:
- Cleethorpes high tide 1830 GMT slight overtopping of seafront and near Thorpe Park (Humberstone Fitties) but nothing major.
- Mablethorpe high tide 1803 GMT waves measuring 10 foot high reported at Trusthorpe but sea defences stood firm.
- Skegness high tide 1846 GMT nothing major to report as the sea defences did their job.
- Boston high tide 1840 GMT the River Haven was high but didn't breach the defences and the water level is receding
So that's all folks! thankfully!
There are still 20 flood warnings in place along the Lincolnshire coast and you can keep up with the latest flooding information, external where you are by visiting the Environment Agency website.
Right I'm off for a much needed lie- down good night!
