  1. New MRI scanner for Stamford Hospitalpublished at 09:15 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2017

    Around 8,000 patients a week are expected to benefit from a new MRI scanner at Stamford Hospital. 

    The 27 tonne scanner was delivered at the weekend. 

    Once installed it is expected to be working by early February.

    Police investigations continue after the body of a man was found on the roadside between Alford and Ulceby Cross over the weekend. 

    He was discovered early on Saturday morning on the A1104 Miles Cross Hill. 

    Police are treating the 23-year-old's death as unexplained.

    It's another huge day for Lincoln City as they're in the draw for the FA Cup fourth round along with some of the biggest names in football. 

    Imps' manager Danny Cowley is expected at the live draw. 

    Tickets go on sale for season ticket holders for the Imps' third round replay against Ipswich town . 

    The club's also waiting to find out if that match will be televised - which would earn them another £72,000.

    Lincoln City Chairman Bob Dorrian says he expects a lot of interest in the match.
