    The In Bloom team in Cleethorpes who've won numerous awards are suspending their work until they get a commitment from the council. 

    They've told us they want assurances that North East Lincolnshire Council will continue supporting the work they do to keep the resort looking good. 

    No decision has been made by the council but they are considering "a range of options".

    Police have raided a cannabis farm just as the crop was being harvested, external.

    Officers arrived at premises in North Kyme where they searched outbuildings, Lincoln Crown Court heard.

    Animal rights campaigners are planning to gather outside a circus when it visits Weston near Spalding this weekend.

    They're protesting against the use of animals in Circus Mondao - which begins a week long run at the site from tomorrow.

    The troupe use Llamas, horses and a camel and Ringmistress Petra Jackson says they're extremely well looked after.

    Now, a lot of Lincoln City fans will tell you that they've been fans since they were children but can they claim to be fans since they were less than 24 hours old?

    Well little Freddie Carrot can!

    He was registered to the Junior Imps Club on the day he was born and now, at ten days old, he's met manager Danny Cowley.

  5. Farmers near the coast bear brunt of bird flu restrictionspublished at 09:40 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    We told you yesterday that DEFRA is extending bird flu restrictions in areas deemed as "high risk" until at least April.

    This means that farmers will have to continue to keep their birds indoors and that eventually their free-range status will expire.

    Alison Pratt from the NFU says because of how DEFRA classifies the risk, a lot of their members in Lincolnshire are being affected:

  6. Woman rescued from arson attack housepublished at 09:26 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    A woman had to be rescued from a house after arsonists attacked a property in Scunthorpe.

    The unnamed woman was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary from the incident on Frodingham Road in Scunthorpe.

    The fire was reported, external at 22:25 on 8 February.

    She is receiving treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

  7. Heat lamp causes house fire in Louthpublished at 09:01 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2017

    Three fire crews had to be called to house on Alexander Drive in Louth yesterday evening after fire broke out just before 17:00.

    No one was hurt in the blaze but Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue say the house was badly damaged by the heat and the smoke. 

    Firefighters say it was started by an electrical fault in a heat lamp.

    Two men have been jailed for stealing 120 phones and £400 after holding up staff at the Carphone Warehouse in Spalding.

    Kurtis Lampty, 27, of Hackney, and Reece Francis, 25, of Poplar, travelled from east London in a stolen Audi Q5 on 14 May 2015 before entering the shop at 18:00.

    Lincoln Crown Court heard staff were terrified that the pair, who were on prison licence from previous convictions, were going to stab them.

    Lampty has been jailed for three years and Francis has been jailed for two years and eight months.

    We told you earlier about the campaign by Sleaford shoppers to hold on to their Argos after news that the site it's a part of has been bought out.

    Argos have confirmed the store will be shutting down, but they're looking to relocate within the town:
