  2. Government confirms some egg producers in Lincolnshire could lose free-range statuspublished at 15:45 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2017

    Harry Parkhill
    BBC Local Live, Lincolnshire

Bird Flu restrictions could mean that some farmers may no longer be able to label their chickens and eggs free-range because they've been kept indoors for too long.

For many across the country, the DEFRA-imposed measures are being eased towards the end of the month but they're going to stay in place in "high risk, external" areas.

Because there's been three confirmed cases in Lincolnshire in the last few months, parts of our county fall into that category:

    BBC Travel

Traffic is now flowing as normal on the A47 in Wansford after a four-vehicle crash earlier.

There are still some issues in the south of the county however.

It's slow on the A15 Main Road in Thurlby at the High Street junction and traffic has also built up on the A606 Scotgate in Stamford. Both delays are because of roadworks.

    BBC Radio Lincolnshire

Only 77% of patients in Lincolnshire spent less than four hours in accident and emergency units, well below the NHS target of 95%.

The picture has been similarly bad across the country with December working out as the worst month for units in England since the target was introduced 13 years ago.

However Lincolnshire trails behind even the national average which is 86%.

Provisional data suggests performance nationally was even worse in January.
