    One hundred jobs are to be created in a Lincolnshire village by Associated British Foods.

    The food giant's bought the old British Sugar factory in Bardney, near Lincoln.

    Ryvita Mini snacks will be made on the site. Work has begun on the £55m pound project which is expected to open next Spring.

    Parents in Lincolnshire are finding out which secondary schools their children have got into today. 

    Nearly 8,000 11-year-olds will start year 7 in the Lincolnshire County Council area this September. 

    The County Council says early indications are that 90% have been successful in securing a place in their first choice of school.

    There's very slow traffic and the road is partially blocked due to an accident between a lorry and van on the A46 Lincoln bypass. The accident's happened close to the Riseholme Road roundabout on the westbound carriageway.

    A Lincolnshire mum has told me new tougher penalties for motorists caught on their phones don't go far enough.

    From today new drivers will lose their licence, for others it's six points and a £200 fine.

    Alice Husband is from Spalding - her son Seth, seven,  died in a crash outside their home in 2014.

    Mrs Husband spoke to me on BBC Radio Lincolnshire earlier and said the motorist involved was on speaker-phone at the time. She wants the use of phones by drivers banned completely.

    Police say a 13-year-old boy has been taken to Lincoln County Hospital this morning after a collision in the city.

    It happened at around 07.50 on Riseholme Road, close to the junction with Queen Elizabeth Road.

    Police say the boy was hit by a car but there are no more details of the his injuries at this time.

    Lincoln City bosses have organised a special train to take fans to London for the upcoming FA Cup quarter final against Arsenal.

    The train will leave Lincoln Central at about 13.00 on Saturday 11 March and will arrive at Finsbury Park Station, close to the Emirates Stadium, at 15.30.

    The train will comprise 11 carriages, three of which will be first class. The club says no alcohol will be permitted on the train. A total of 617 return tickets are available, all on a first come, first served basis from the club ticket office, with prices at £59 for adults, £49 for under-18s and £69 for first class.

    It's top versus bottom tonight when  York City make the short trip to Lincoln City in the National League.

    The Minstermen may have made it through to the semi finals of the FA Trophy, but Lincoln City have also wowed their fans with an FA Cup quarter final draw against Arsenal.

    Ironically, York and Lincoln will meet each other in the FA Trophy.

    York are currently bottom of the National League. Could a win tonight get them off the bottom?

    Youngers Lane is closed in both directions in Burgh le Marsh, near Skegness because of an accident between Ingoldmells Road and Everingtons Lane Middlemarsh Road. Police say a lamp post has been hit and is obstructing the road.

    Extreme, the company selected by Grimsby Town to develop their proposed new stadium, have been given the option to purchase Council owned land.

    A special meeting was held today to discuss the plans, it is still subject to planning permission being approved.

    It is proposed that the stadium should be built near to the Peaks Parkway.
