    There's a  warning about ice  on untreated services until the middle of this morning, which could lead to difficult driving conditions and slippery pavements.

    Elsewhere it'll be a cold and breezy  day  with sunny spells and isolated showers. 

    Cloud will increase from the west this afternoon. Fresh westerly winds and a maximum temperature of 7C (45F).

    He's famous for his role as Commissioner Gordon in Batman movie The Dark Knight.

    But now Lincoln-based actor Colin McFarlane's taken to the political stage over streetlights.

    Mr McFarlane says he's angry over Lincolnshire County Council's money-saving scheme which sees lights switched off overnight across the county.

    He wants the council to rethink and says he's gathered evidence and done research which shows more crime is committed when the streets go dark.

    • The trust which runs Burghley House in Stamford has been fined more than a quarter of a million pounds after a butler died at the estate. 
    • An 81 year old tractor driver is to face trial after denying causing death by careless driving in Lincolnshire.  
    • A school manager in Lincolnshire says a staff member was almost paid £1.5m by the private firm Serco which is responsible for wages.  
    • Improvements are being made to Kennel Lane in Reepham near Lincoln ahead of the construction of the city's Eastern Bypass. 
    • In football Lincoln City will face York in the Semi Finals of the FA Trophy - the first leg will be away on Tuesday 14th of March.

    A fire at an abattoir in Skegness on Friday night is being treated as suspicious. 

    That's according to the police who are holding a joint investigation with the fire service. 

    They say it's too early to give a cause or a motive.

    Improvements are being made to a road near Lincoln ahead of the construction of the city's Eastern Bypass. 

    Kennel Lane in Reepham will be closed for the next fortnight while a new carriageway is built to join the A158. 

    Diversions are in place.

    Police have today said a man who was seriously injured in a crash in Scunthorpe earlier this month has died. 

    46 year old Paul Kirby, who was from Scunthorpe, died in hospital last week. 

    The BMW he was driving crashed into a fence on Winterton Road on February 12.

    An 81 year old tractor driver is to face trial after denying causing death by careless driving in Lincolnshire.

    Richard Lenton of West Fen Stickney was charged following an incident last April. 

    Paul Evans died when his vehicle entered a water filled ditch at Hobhole Bank.

    A Trust which runs a stately home in Lincolnshire has been fined more than a quarter of a million pounds following the death of a butler.

    Arthur Mellar was crushed by a lift at Burghley House in Stamford in July 2014. 

    The Trust admitted breaching health and safety regulations.

    In a statement it said their thoughts were with the victim's family.

    A campaign to get a Lego Red Arrows kit made up has reached 10,000 votes. 

    That's enough for the idea to be reviewed. 

    The design was created by Former Reds engineer, Flight Lieutenant Marcus Ramsden.
