    Sharon Edwards

Migration was of course a corner stone of the debate when it came to the EU Referendum and it's an issue that Boston, a town with a large Eastern European community, is very familiar with.

Some of the migrants here say they're not concerned about the upcoming negotiations and feel as though their lives will go on as normal. However not everyone feels so optimistic.

Hana Raf-a-jová is originally from the Czech Republic but has lived in Boston for 12 years. She's frightened about what it will mean for her family:

Overnight we have received thousands of messages of concern for you and the boys. Your loved ones are desperately worried and want to hear from you. They just want to know you and the boys are safe. For now all we need is that phone call."

To meet the criteria, car parks must have sufficient accessible bays, clear signage, easy access and good lighting.

They should also offer accessible pay machines and provide enforcement so bays are not abused by people who are not disabled.

The council has reached an agreement with CPG Investments Ltd, the owner of the building.

More than £2m has been spent on repairs to the Silo by North East Lincolnshire Council since February 2016 following safety concerns.

    Quote Message

The Silo at Victoria Mill is an important part of the town’s history and a dominant feature on the skyline for miles around. It’s too early to go into any detail about plans for the building’s future, but we’re looking to improve the borough’s maritime heritage offer and it’s likely the Silo will play a major part in that strategy.”

There was a member of the public at risk and we knew we had to intervene. You just revert to the role of when you've got a job to do, you go and do it. It can be scary but the adrenaline kicks in and you get on with it

  17. Animal abuse complaints fall slightly in Lincolnshirepublished at 09:57 British Summer Time 29 March 2017

    Alex Rhodes
    BBC Lincolnshire Live

There's some new figures out from the RSPCA this morning about animal cruelty in our county.

They investigated 3,236 complaints in 2016 - that's down slightly from the 3,264 investigations from 2015.

However they say it's not all about the numbers of course and some horrible instances still go on.

This is Queenie, a crossbreed taken to Blue Cross Animal Hospital in Grimsby, emaciated and collapsed:

She was just 7.5kg, half the weight she should have been and sadly had to be put down:

  18. Brexit: 'The best thing we could do for the country'published at 09:30 British Summer Time 29 March 2017

    Harry Parkhill
    BBC Local Live, Lincolnshire

I've been speaking to traders in Boston Market Place this morning about Article 50 and the road ahead.

In last year's refeendum, the town returned the highest Brexit vote in Britain, with 75.6% voting to leave the European Union.

Boston stallholder Vincent Bellini says he believes the Leave vote would have been even bigger without "the scare stories" from David Cameron and George Osborne.
