  6. More than half a million pounds for Market Rasen stationpublished at 17:15 British Summer Time 27 March 2017

    More than half a million pounds is to be spent restoring Market Rasen's Old Railway Station. 

    The money from the Heritage Lottery Fund will be used to turn it into offices and a community space, as well as showcasing the site's history.

  7. Around 130 RAF Coningsby personnel to deploy to Romaniapublished at 16:55 British Summer Time 27 March 2017

    The RAF says that around 130 personnel will make up the deployment to Romania along with a number of Typhoon aircraft. 

    They've already begun to prepare their equipment ahead of the NATO mission, which is designed in part to deter Russian aggression.

    The majority of the equipment is being driven to Romania rather than be transported by aircraft to minimise costs.

  9. Bomber Command Memorial: £2 million still neededpublished at 16:03 British Summer Time 27 March 2017

    Fundraisers for the Bomber Command Memorial say that they still need around £2 million pounds to fully complete the project.

    Work began last October on the Chadwick Centre which sits alongside the memorial spire on Canwick Hill on the outskirts of Lincoln.

    Nicky Barr says there are more costs than just bricks and mortar.

    More now on the news that from today Grantham A&E is opening an hour earlier in the mornings.

    Campaigners say that while ultimately they want a full re-opening of services, this is a step in the right direction.

At least when I take my children to school in the morning I know now that if anything does happen I have the unit open between the hours of 08:00 and 09:00 and I can get emergency care when I need it.

    Today marks the first day of Stamford's Mid-Lent fair. 

    It's thought to be the largest event of it's kind in Lincolnshire and will run until Saturday. 

    Last year wasn't so good, flood waters disrupted the rides.

    23-year-old Adam Hughes is wanted in connection with a burglary in Holbeach Drove.

    It happened on 15 March and police want anyone who knows the location of Mr Hughes to get in touch.

    The release date for tickets to BBC Radio 1's big weekend, which is being held just over the Humber in Hull, has been announced.

    American superstar Katy Perry  tops the bill at the event at Burton Constable. 

    50,000 tickets will be made available on Monday 10 April. 

    A word of warning - if you're looking to go, the majority of tickets are being allocated to people in Hull and East Yorkshire.

    Lincolnshire Wildlife Park says its looking to invest and expand - thanks to a big rise in visitor numbers. 

    The Friskney attraction says there's been a rise of more than 30% on last year.

    National trends show figures to attractions such as museums, cathedrals and zoos - have gone up by more than 7%.

  17. Unveiling of the Lincoln Knightspublished at 12:23 British Summer Time 27 March 2017

    The 35 sculptures that will make up Lincoln's Knight's Trail will be unveiled later today. 

    Artists have been painting the knights - which commemorate the 800th anniversary of the battle of Lincoln.

    It's hoped it'll boost visitor numbers - like the Baron's trail did two years ago.
