Lincolnshire's religious leaders have met today to pray for the victims of the Manchester bomb attack.

Representatives from the Catholic, Anglican and Jewish communities joined with Muslims during Friday prayers at the city's mosque.

The Dean of Lincoln, The Very Reverend Christine Wilson, says it's important that faiths unite.

Police are appealing for help in tracing a missing Louth woman who has not had contact with her family since Saturday 20 May.

49-year-old Sharon Simpson and was reported missing from her home yesterday.

Police are becoming very concerned for her and have urged anyone who knows her whereabouts to call 101.

They are also appealing directly to Sharon to make contact so her family can be reassured that she is safe.

A former Lincolnshire police officer and scout master has been found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting a boy younger than 13.

William Wright, 30, was convicted of eight offences after a trial at Lincoln Crown Court. He will be sentenced at a later date.

In 2011, he was given an indefinite sentence for public protection, with a minimum term of three years and 10 months, after pleading guilty to 32 sexual offences, including sexual assault, enticing a girl to engage in pornography and making indecent images of a child.

Wright, formerly of Townhill Lane, Bucknall, Lincolnshire, was described by police at the time as a “dangerous predatory paedophile”.

A Lincolnshire woman's described how her injured son was taken on an 80 mile trip to get hospital treatment.

Adele Crompton-Allan from Great Gonerby says she had to drive her 7-year-old son, who broke his arm, from their home near Grantham to Lincoln Accident and Emergency Unit.

Grantham A&E was shut and she was told there'd be a long wait for an ambulance. Harry was then taken to the QMC in Nottingham.

EMAS have apologised to the family saying they are sorry that they could not get to the patient sooner.

Lincoln City have sold over 3,500 season tickets for next season, the club have confirmed.

However, a number of fans are still to renew their season tickets meaning the figure could rise to over 4,000.

Imps managing director Kevin Cooke says he hopes attendances at Sincil Bank will continue to rise.

People are being warned of the dangers of swimming in open water following several incidents of children jumping into the lakes at Hartsholme Country Park and Swanholme Lakes.

City of Lincoln Council’s park rangers have issued a warning to people to keep out of the water as the hot weather continues and half-term approaches.

The UKIP leader Paul Nuttall has been campaigning in Grimsby today where he called for foreign aid to be scrapped and the money used to help fund the NHS.

Election campaigning was postponed until today following the Manchester terrorist attack.

Speaking to BBC Radio Humberside the UKIP leader said he's not sure the Prime Minister Theresa May will 'get the job done' over a strong brexit deal.

A 72 year old south Lincolnshire man has today been jailed for 8 months for viewing indecent images of children.

Peter Bird of East Street, Crowland, a former parish councillor and special constable, admitted the charges.

The judge told him that children had been abused in the making of the material.

There's another chance to learn livesaving CPR skills this weekend as part of BBC Radio Lincolnshire's Save a Life Campaign.

The station's trying to get 10,000 people to learn the skill.

At the start of the week, we announced the 3,000 mark had been passed - and it should be closer to 4,000 after this weekend.

Our partners, LIVES, external and St John Ambulance, external, will be at an event in Sleaford, the Family Fun Fest, external at the town's rugby club.

As you may know, I've been holding a series of election candidates' debates.

We've had to make a few changes because of the suspension of campaigning by the political parties after the Manchester terrorist attack.

But it's continuing next week in Lincoln, and we'll be teaming up with the Lincolnite, external to bring you the debate on Monday 5 June at the Drill Hall at 19:15.

The Mayor of Lincoln, Councillor Chris Burke went to the Ermine Community Larder earlier this week to officially launch this year's Mayoral Charity.

He has chosen to help all of Lincoln's food banks and community larders and went along to see what needs to be done to make a difference.

Food banks and community larders will take any food as long as it is packaged in ‘as new’ condition and it is well within its best before date.

Nearly fifty million pounds is currently being invested into the Lincolnshire coast according to East Lindsey District Council.

It includes the £16m redevelopment of the former Skegness Town Football Club ground and almost ten million pounds bringing Premier Inn, KFC and Brewer's Fayre to Skegness.

Many hotels and caravan sites are booked out for the Bank Holiday Weekend.

A prisoner has absconded from a prison near Boston.

Nicky Ward, 36, has been absent from HMP North Sea Camp since Wednesday night.

Police say he has links to Skegness but is from South Yorkshire. He's described as 6'2" tall with black hair and green eyes.

If you think you have seen him, or have any information concerning his whereabouts, Lincolnshire Police ask you to call 101.

A superbike champion in Lincolnshire is calling for more potholes to be mended in Lincolnshire. Steve Plater says the county's roads are dangerous for bikes.
