    I told you earlier about the stolen slush machines, well it appears the spate of bizarre thefts is continuing.

    This time... it's a ladder. Police think these two may be able to help them in their enquiries.

    And it gets stranger. It was taken from a disused church between Wragby and Goltho on 19 June and it was later found at Wragby Maze.

    Putting my detective hat on for a minute I reckon it's fair to say whoever stole it isn't very good at mazes.

    Fairer funding is once again being demanded for our county.

    The leader of the County Council Martin Hill says the authority can't go on finding savings while inner London gets twice as much money as Lincolnshire.

    He says it feels as though we're at the bottom of the pile:

    From today mental health nurses will be available to be deployed from Lincolnshire Police control room.

    Officers on patrol say they're dealing with more and more cases involving mental health issues and learning disabilities so the crisis nurses will be available six days a week to assist.

    Maureen O'Leary is the first nurse on shift as part of the £60,000 project:

    It's being tested for a year and if it's successful it may be given more funding.

    Detective Chief Superintendent Chris Davison says its part of wider efforts to improve how the force deals with the mentally ill:

    You may have heard that Shadow Education secretary Angela Rayner has been hitting back at "anonymous trolls" who've been criticising her for sounding "thick".

    The MP for Ashton-under-Lyne says it started after an appearance on the Andrew Marr Show but she won't be changing the way she speaks.

    Police are investigating the theft of two "blue ice" slush machines from the Slush Shack on Sea Lane in Ingoldmells.

    It happened last Tuesday in the early hours of the morning.

    Two people have been arrested in connection with a collision involving a pedestrian in Tattershall.

    It happened outside the Black Horse Pub yesterday evening. A man's in hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

    Two 26-year-old local men are being questioned.

    The operators of the Evergreen miniature railway had appealed for a new home after its site in Stickney was sold.

    Addam Smith from Lincoln founded "Band of Builders" - a group of tradespeople which helps others in times of need. He's been named "trade hero" by a national building firm.

    A new video instructing Brits abroad what to do in the event of a terror attack features a firearms incident unfolding at a hotel.

    It comes after the 2015 Tunisian beach attack, in which Gainsborough woman Carly Lovett was one of 30 British holidaymakers killed by gunman Seifeddine Rezgui.

    Counter terrorism police said there is no specific intelligence Britons will be targeted this summer and the film is part of a general awareness campaign.

    More plans to merge GP surgeries in Louth have been announced.

    A consultation's being launched today on bringing together Kidgate surgery and the James Street Practice. Doctors believe it's the best way to maintain high quality local services.

    Last month, Newmarket surgery in the town announced it wanted to join up with The Wolds and New Coningsby practices.

    The Bishop of Lincoln has voted in favour of a General Synod motion calling for a ban on "conversion therapy" - a practice aimed at changing sexual orientation.

    It's been part of a wider discussion on sexuality being held by the Church of Engalnd.

    In a statement, Bishop Christopher says "We're all made in the image of God... and attempts to change orientation is unhelpful, wrong and even abusive."
