    Anyone who witnessed an assault in Grimsby at the weekend is being asked to get in touch with police.

    A 43-year-old man was allegedly attacked outside St James Hotel in the early hours of Saturday morning, suffering bruising to his face and a cut to his head.

    Three men who were arrested on suspicion of assault have been released while investigations continue, according to Humberside Police.

    A landlord in Scunthorpe claims his is the luckiest pub in the country after he and a group of friends won £1m on the Lottery.

    Ian Brooke (pictured in the middle above) , who runs The Mallard pub, is one of the Lottery's latest winners alongside mates Andrew Enefer and Rashad Own.

    Mr Brooke started playing the Lottery after two of his other regulars, David Long and Kathleen MacKenzie (also pictured), twice won £1m in just two years.

    He says: "The Mallard has to be the luckiest pub in the UK, if not Europe. Three big National Lottery wins in four years - it is absolutely amazing."

    Fuel spilled out of a flipped car, external in North Hykeham as onlookers desperately tried to help the driver escape.

    The motorist had climbed out of his car window and was sat on top of his vehicle as nearby homeowners rushed to his aid.

    More now on the crash near Horncastle we told you about earlier.

    Two teenage girls were taken to hospitals in Lincoln and Hull after the incident, which police say happened just before 22:20 last night at the Hungram Lane crossroads.

    It involved a black Volkswagen Golf and a blue tractor.

    The girls were passengers in the car, but the driver escaped unharmed.

    The driver of the tractor suffered a minor injury.

    Earlier we told you that United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) had stopped diagnosing children on the autistic spectrum.

    But, after holding an "urgent" meeting today it seems that's no longer the case.

    Initially ULHT told the BBC they had to halt the autism diagnosis service because it wasn't complying with health watchdog guidelines.

    However, the trust now says it's hoping to return "full diagnosis by the end of this week".

    In addition, the trust says a full multi-disciplinary team will be in place in the near future.

    The International Bomber Command Memorial in Lincoln is to play a part as the Royal Air Force marks its 100th anniversary next year.

    The official opening of the £3m visitor centre at the memorial is due to take place next April.

    The memorial, which includes a 102ft-high memorial spire and peace garden, will now be part of a series of national events held by the RAF during 2018.

    The memorial pays tribute to the 50,000 members of Bomber Command, external who died during World War Two.

    A Lincolnshire mum who suspects her son has autism says her family has been left in limbo.

    As we told you earlier, United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) says it is currently not diagnosing children on the autistic spectrum.

    Rowan Stewart waited a year for his autism assessment at Grantham Hospital.

    His mum, Sarah, says not getting a diagnosis early on will affect his future:

    A stand-off between police and a wanted man who's taken to the roof of a house in Scunthorpe continues this lunchtime.

    Kyle Ferguson, who's wanted by police for several "serious offences", remains on the rooftop at a property in Salisbury Close.

    A police cordon remains in place with local residents being warned to keep away from the scene and that public transport routes in the area may be affected.

    The force says its officers aim to resolve the situation "at the earliest and safest opportunity".

    Parking at hospitals in Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Goole will cost more from next month.

    Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust says it's putting prices up by 10p - from £2 for one hour to £2.10.

    The trust's director of estates and facilities, Jug Johal, says it's the first increase in parking charges since 2015.

    "The majority of the money we receive in fees from drivers is invested to pay for security and maintenance of our parking services to keep patients and staff safe while on our sites," says Mr Johal.

    The trust says the £2 fixed rate for blue badge holders will remain the same and concessions for long-term users and cancer patients will continue.

    This morning's incident involving wanted man Kyle Ferguson, who's taken to a roof in Salisbury, Close, Scunthorpe (pictured), comes after a warning by police yesterday that anyone protecting him could face arrest.

    He's wanted for several offences including possession of an offensive weapon, affray, assault and public nuisance which police say is "in connection with a number of rooftop incidents".

    In a statement by Humberside Police, Ch Insp Matthew Wright said: "Anyone helping Kyle Ferguson will be dealt with.

    "He is wanted in connection with a series of serious offences and we will arrest him for those offences. Any further delays caused by other individuals assisting him will not be tolerated.

    "My message to anyone helping him is, is this worth your own liberty? Are you really prepared to be arrested in order to help him?"

    People in Scunthorpe are being warned to avoid the Salisbury Close area of the town after a man who's wanted by police took to a house roof in a bid to escape arrest.

    Kyle Ferguson is wanted by police over a number of offences including possession of an offensive weapon, affray, assault and public nuisance in connection with several rooftop incidents.

    A cordon is currently in place near Salisbury Close which also affects Plymouth Road, Bristol Road and West Common Lane, with Humberside Police also warning that public transport routes in the area will also be affected while the incident continues.

    The force says it wants to reassure local residents that they "fully understand the inconvenience this type of incident creates" and intend to resolve it "at the earliest and safest opportunity".

    Today's incident comes just a day after police warned anyone found harbouring Kyle Ferguson that they would be "dealt with".
