    Concerns are being raised in North East Lincolnshire over plans to to replace Toll Bar roundabout with traffic lights.

    It's thought up to 10 sets of lights could be installed on the A16, but final proposals for the scheme will be agreed once a contractor for the works is appointed.

    Lincolnshire Police have released from custody a man arrested in relation to an unexplained death in Newtoft near Market Rasen

    A 40-year-old woman was found at a house on Tudor Close on Tuesday 5 September.

    The postmortem the cause of death was not suspicious and they are not looking for anyone else.

    The family of a man who died in a serious car crash on the A180 near Barnetby Top in North Lincolnshire have released a picture of him.

    Sonny Kiss (pictured below) died when the Nissan Micra he was driving collided with a green tipper truck and a Vauxhaull Astra at about 05:30 on Monday morning.

    Twenty-four-year-old Sonny was engaged to be married and had a young daughter.

    His friends and family say he was "a lovely gentleman" who has gone "way too early".

    A crowdfunding page has been set up to help raise money for his funeral.

    Dozens of sick people are being forced to queue outside a doctor’s surgery, external on a regular basis, according to a frustrated user.

    Dawn Clark claims she has been ‘drenched to the skin’ waiting outside Hawthorn Medical Practice in Skegness with countless more beside her, or sat in nearby cars.

    The 53-year-old insists people are regularly being forced to wait outside in the cold, only to be told there are no appointments left when they finally get to the counter.

    A motorist has been taken to hospital after an accident near Boston just before 10:00 this morning.

    It closed the A16 between Kirton and Algakirk while a diesel spill was cleared.

    The road has reopened but there are still delays.

    Lincoln City management duo Danny and Nicky Cowley have joined hundreds of students from the University of Lincoln to be honoured at today's graduation ceremony.

    They received the Chancellor's Medal during the service at Lincoln Cathedral recognising their success with the Imps who were promoted to League Two at the end of last season.

    A fundraising page has been created for the funeral of 24-year-old Sonny Kiss, who died on Monday morning in a collision in North Lincolnshire.

    Mr Kiss died when his car collided with a green tipper truck and a Vauxhaull Astra on the eastbound carriageway of the A180 near Barnetby Top.

    Family friends of Mr Kiss are looking to raise £2,000 to go towards funeral costs, external, with any remaining cash going to his daughter.

    Police say an elderly woman in Boston was tricked into transferring money from her account.

    The caller persuaded her they were from the bank's fraud team.

    Officers say banks would never call customers in that way.

    A man from Cleethorpes who died in a collision on the A180 near Barnetby Top in North Lincolnshire earlier this week has been named as 24-year-old Sonny Kiss.

    Mr Kiss died when the Nissan Micra he was driving collided with a green tipper truck and a Vauxhaull Astra on the eastbound carriageway of the A180 at about 05:30 on Monday morning.

    Anyone who witnessed the collision or who saw what happened prior to the collision is being asked to contact Humberside Police, external.

    Two Lincolnshire MPs have joined the fight to protect Louth Livestock Market.

    The public consultation on the future of the site closed yesterday and East Lindsey District Council has proposed three options for the site - to keep it, close it or move it.

    Victoria Atkins, Conservative MP for Louth and Horncastle and Matt Warman, the Conservative MP for Boston and Skegness, have both given their views.

    Ms Atkins says farming, the rural economy and the countryside are priorities for her and that the market "must stay":

    It's a saga that's been going on since the start of the year, but today the go ahead could be given on a trampoline park in Skegness.

    The park, called Jump Warriors, was initially given planning permission but it was then revoked just days before the park was due to open after a number of objections were raised.

    The last British Dambuster - George "Johnny" Johnson - will receive an honorary award from the University of Lincoln today.

    Johnny, who lives in Bristol, is the last remaining British survivor of Operation Chastise, the famous World War II "Dambusters" raid which flew from RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire in May 1943.

    He will be awarded the prestigious award of Honorary Doctor of the University, in recognition of his contribution to British society.

    Johnny was made an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours in June after a public campaign for his services to be recognised.
