    Police are asking people to watch out for Jason Frow who failed to appear at court earlier today.

    The 24-year-old, from Lincoln, was due to face magistrates in the city on a charge of vehicle theft.

    More than 3,500 cases of missing people have been reported in Lincolnshire in the past 12 months, with two thirds of cases involving children.

    Marc Jones (pictured), Lincolnshire's Police and Crime Commissioner, says the numbers are staggering and put significant pressure on officers.

    He says the force is now using drones to try and locate missing people.

    Mr Jones made his comments after a woman renewed her appeal for information about her missing father, 19 years after his disappearance.

    Tessa Capon is still desperate for information about her father Andrew, from Grantham, who went missing on a night out in Skegness in 1998.

    Traffic which has been stuck on the westbound carriageway on the A180 near Ulceby is getting moving again.

    Earlier today, there was a crash on the road involving several heavy goods vehicles and which saw three people suffer minor injuries.

    Drivers closest to the crash are starting to be moved on again after being stuck for about three hours.

    The westbound carriageway still remains closed and drivers are being advised to avoid the area.

    There were no serious injuries after a crash on the A180 near Immingham earlier today, Humberside Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed.

    Several heavy goods vehicles were involved and the police say three people suffered minor injuries.

    Drivers are still being advised to avoid the area, though, as the road is still closed westbound.

    Meanwhile, only one carriageway is currently open eastbound on the road near Ulceby:

    Detectives are warning residents to be vigilant and to report anything suspicious after the rape of a woman in Louth.

    The incident happened in the town centre between 19:00 and 20:00 on Wednesday 13 December after a woman in her 30s was approached in the Mercer Row area.

    The suspect is described as in his 30s, tall, with short, light coloured hair and stubble. He was wearing a tracksuit top which had triangles on the sleeves and white borders around them.

    Detectives are appealing for information and want to speak to anyone who witnessed a struggle or anything out of the ordinary on Wednesday evening.

    More than 2,000 young people in Lincolnshire have asked for help to escape from a life of "sofa surfing", a major new BBC study has revealed.

    In nearly 40% of cases, it's because they are thrown out of the parental home.

    The BBC study found that young people in this situation often do not show up on official statistics, meaning the problem of homelessness may be worse that officials think.

    The charity Centrepoint said the BBC data corroborated its own research, carried out in 2014 by Cambridge University, external.

    Co-author Anna Clarke said: "Sofa-surfing is a not an uncommon experience for young people in housing difficulties."

    One of Gainsborough's biggest schools is closed today after a power cut.

    A major failure yesterday meant the school had to cancel its Christmas production of Bugsy Malone.

    Pupils are being asked to stay at home - staff are at work as usual.

    A decision will be made later on whether tonight's performance will go ahead.
