Lincolnshire County Council says it's struggling to cope with the number of potholes across the county, despite an extra £2.5m from the government to deal with the problem.
Last year the council repaired 100,000 potholes, and nearly 1,000 potholes have already been reported to the authority since the start of this year.

Tesco has apologised after concern was raised about the number of trolleys from its stores found abandoned in a Lincolnshire town.
Councillor Trevor Young says up to 70 supermarket trolleys are abandoned in Gainsborough every day.
West Lindsey District Council is considering fining supermarkets up to £100 per trolley found.
Tesco says it's "looking at options" at how to prevent the problem from happening.

Pet owners are being warned to be wary of exercising dogs close to Lincolnshire's tidal waters after the deaths of two dogs further down the coast who ate dead fish.
Bramble the cocker spaniel and Hattie the retriever (both pictured) died in Suffolk and Norfolk after eating dead fish containing high levels of PSP, or Paralytic Shellfish Poison.
PSP is a naturally occurring marine toxin which is lethal to animals.
Boston Borough Council is warning dog owners to be careful on the coast after weather caused thousands of starfish to wash up on beaches recently:
A charity for homeless people in North East Lincolnshire has secured money for a new night shelter.
Harbour Place, external works to get rough sleepers off the streets of Grimsby and Cleethorpes.
The charity says it now needs a building for its shelter.
There are concerns that plans for a waste processing plant near Lincoln will cause traffic problems.
The application by ACR Energy is for an anaerobic digester (similar to the one pictured under construction) near Canwick.
Anaerobic digesters use micro-organisms to break down plant material to create gas which is burned for energy.
Some local residents say they're worried the renewable energy plant will be near a busy road which is close to the site of a proposed bypass.
If approved, it would cover an area of five to six acres, but the company says it won't be that noticeable to its neighbours.
There'll be more police officers patrolling the streets of Scunthorpe.
It is part of an operation to reduce crime in the Froddingham and Kingsway areas, external of the town.
Humberside Police say they've already seen a drop in burglaries as four key offenders have been sent to prison or are in custody awaiting trial as a result of the latest crackdown.
An 11-year-old girl has been threatened at knifepoint by a man on a village lane near Sleaford.
It happened at about 18:15 yesterday evening in Ancaster, as the girl was playing with her friends between Mercia Drive and Water Well Lane.
The offender ran away and the girl was unhurt in the incident.
The suspect is believed to be white, about 20 years old, tall and wearing black.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area last night to get in touch with them.
Officers are particularly interested in any dashcam footage from drivers in the area.
The woman was held after the body of 80-year-old James Fish was found in Grimsby on Monday.

The 80-year-old died following an incident at a property on Grimsby Road yesterday morning.
A 28-year-old woman has been arrested and remains in custody.
An investigation into his death continues.
Det Ch Insp Stewart Miller says while officers are still trying to work out exactly what happened, they believe Mr Fish's death is an "isolated incident, with no risk to the wider public":

There are long delays on a major road near Boston after two lorries attempted to cross a narrow bridge at the same time.
The road is blocked and it's causing delays along the Boardsides (A1121), near Boston.

Owners of Ford Transit vans are being urged to better protect their vehicles after a spate of thefts in the county.
Fourteen of the vans have been stolen in recent weeks with many being stripped for parts and burnt out.
Lincolnshire Police say the way the vans have been stolen is unusual.

Police are asking for help to find 76-year-old Brian Fitter who's been missing from his home in Grimsby since Friday.
He was last seen on Town Hall Street in Grimsby.
Officers say they're concerned for his health and well-being, external and are asking anyone who sees him to call 101.
Routine operations at hospitals in Grimsby and Scunthorpe could be cancelled until the middle of next month, according to health bosses.
It is because of winter pressures, they say.
The cancellations are in an effort to free staff to work in Accident & Emergency departments and are likely to continue for another three weeks.
