    Police have said it is an overturned trailer that is causing delays on the A1 in Rutland.

    Leicestershire Police said it was made aware of the disruption at around 13:30 this afternoon.

    The trailer was carrying a car and it has blocked the A1 southbound near Tickencote causing delays back to Colsterworth.

    The driver is in shock but is not injured, the force added.

    Nearly a quarter of a million pounds has been awarded to transform cancer services in Lincolnshire.

    Macmillan has granted funding of £243,512 to fund a programme to run over the next two years

    Health managers say it will ensure that everyone in the county who has a cancer diagnosis has access to all the different types of support that they need.

    If you are looking for a handyman, builder or someone to do a few jobs around the house, you might decide to go online to look for recommendations.

    However, a BBC Inside Out investigation has found that some fraudulent tradespeople are able to advertise their services on two trusted trade websites, without any experience at all.

    I decided to test this out by setting up a handyman profile on Rated People and MyBuilder, after creating a fake website and email address.

    I was surprised at how easy it was to award myself a reliable-looking five star rating and positive feedback.

    Rated People and MyBuilder have both told the BBC they encourage property owners to do their own homework and check reviews before hiring.

    The UK's Digital Minister has admitted the Government needs to do better when it comes to rolling out superfast broadband across Lincolnshire.

    Nationally they claim it's available to more than 19 out of 20 UK homes and businesses.

    In Lincolnshire there's still around 10% of people who don't have access to the technology.

    A 28-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the death of an elderly man in Waltham, near Grimsby.

    Humberside Police say they were called to a property on Grimsby Road this morning, where the 85-year-old man died.

    Officers say his death is being treated as suspicious.

    The leader of the City of Lincoln Council, Councillor Ric Metcalfe cut the ribbon along with the city's MP Karen Lee.

    The new building is the centrepiece of the £30m Transport Hub project, which has a cafe and information on both busses and trains.

    Staff at a Lincolnshire theatre have been left scratching their heads following the mysterious disappearance of a five foot tall Jimmy Osmond poster.

    Residents in the North East Lincolnshire town spent the weekend clearing litter from the beach.
