An investigation is under way after an allegation of assault in Lincoln by a police officer.
Read MoreThere is growing concern for the safety of missing Grimsby man Darren Clark (pictured).
The 41-year-old has not been seen since he left home yesterday morning to go into the town centre and Freeman Street.
The alarm was raised when he did not pick up his children from school as planned.
Police say he has never been missing before and this is completely out of character, external.
If you’ve seen Darren or have information about where he is, please call Humberside Police on 101, quoting log number 450 of 17 April.
It may not have seemed it in the last few weeks, but Lincolnshire is one of the driest parts of the country in terms of rainfall.
Because of that, Anglian Water is considering spending a large amount of money to try and prevent droughts in the county, particularly in the fens.
One of the potential solutions is to build a large reservoir in the fens somewhere (no locations have been identified yet), and to invest hundreds of millions in a network of pipes to transport water from the banks of the Humber to the fens.
You can have your say on the plans here., external

Curry Jacks, a jacket potato and curry stand in Lincoln's market, uses corn starch packaging for the food (pictured).
The packaging is completely biodegradable.
Stall owner Fiona Duerden says she made the decision because "consumers want a better option for the environment".

Branches of Lloyds bank are to close in three of Lincolnshire's towns.
The banking firm has announced measures to close 49 of its branches across the county, Alford, Mablethorpe and Coningsby branches (pictured) are among those earmarked for closure.
It'll cause 1,230 job losses, though the group says it's creating 925 jobs and existing staff will be redeployed where possible.
County Councillor Colin Davie described the speed of change on the high street as "accelerating daily" and the closures as "very sad news".
Quote MessageI am concerned about these bank closures because they seem to be targeted on these smaller market town type communities with a lot of elderly people, who are not as able to embrace the changes our younger generations are"

Earlier today we told you about the houseboat that was stolen from Saxilby, near Lincoln yesterday and then dumped near the city centre in a terrible state.
Well, now pictures have emerged which show two youths driving the boat along the River Witham.
The pictures show the pair close to the City of Lincoln Council's Stamp End depot, and have been supplied to us by the boat's owner Sean Chambers.
It's thought the photos show the pair on the final stages of their six-mile tour from Saxilby all the way through the city before stopping at the locks at Stamp End.
Police have appealed for anyone who saw the boat on its way through Lincoln yesterday teatime to come forward.
A primary school in Lincoln has been warned it could lose its Government funding.
St Giles Academy was judged inadequate by Ofsted inspectors last December and has been sent a warning by the Department for Education.
In a statement, headteacher David Milner says the school could be handed to another academy trust to run. He said they're working hard to improve.
A primary school is set to expand to cope with an increased demand for places.
Monks Abbey Primary School, in the Monks Road area of the city has been oversubscribed for the last three years.
A plan's been drawn up by officials which would see the number of pupils on the registers rise by just over 100 over the next few years.
If the proposals are agreed it would take the school to 500 pupils.
This will cause major problems on one of the busiest roads in Lincoln city centre:

An inquiry into North Linconlshire Council's attempt to buy land near the M180 has been called for by Labour councillors at the authority.
According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service the council tried to buy the 500 acres of land known as Vale Farm in Broughton in September 2017 for £4m.
A proposal to build 140 affordable homes on the site and create 250 jobs was part of the purchase but the council had a revised offer rejected by owners Jerry Green Dog Rescue in December.
Opposition councillors raised concerns over the transparency of the negotiations but the ruling Conservative group says they were transparent.
Leader of the Labour group, Councillor Len Foster, will put forward a motion to launch an independent inquiry on Friday.
Quote MessageWe think it is the only way we will able to receive any information. The freedom of information request we had back was redacted and we have tried every process we can and have been stopped. There is a smoke screen being developed around the whole thing."
