Lincoln City has moved its youth academy programme to state-of-the-art sports facilities at Riseholme College, external.
Plans for a huge urban extension to Lincoln could be submitted in January, according to the city council.
They say plans for 3,200 homes south-east of the city centre are "progressing well".
The project, known as the Western Growth Corridor, could also include a new stadium for Lincoln City.

The Chief Constable is warning 140 staff jobs, including 60 frontline officers, will be lost if they have to make £10m in savings over the next two years.
The Conservative Police and Crime Commissioner, Marc Jones, insists the force has little choice but to balance the books:

Police say they're concerned for the safety of Stuart Hurst.
Mr Hurst is missing from his home in New Bolingbroke, officers said.
It's believed he could be in the Woodhall Spa area and officers and police drones are carrying out searches there.
Police would also like to speak to anyone who was in The Broadway area of Woodhall Spa between 14:00 and 16:30 yesterday.
The owner of a cleaning company in Bourne is going to appear on the next series of The Apprentice on BBC One.

Novartis has announced plans to close its site in North East Lincolnshire.
It could mean the loss of nearly 400 jobs.
It says the factory will close by the end of 2020 as part of a "global transformation of the company’s manufacturing network."

A large private collection of rare Madonna records will go under the hammer in Lincolnshire today, according to Unique Auctions in Lincoln.
The collection consists of around 200 items.
Some rare Beatles items from the same collector will also be available.
If you're around RAF Waddington today you'll notice an increase in activity.
A training exercise is taking place there, with ambulances and police cars expected in and out the base all day.
It's a test to see how staff would cope with a major incident.

A pharmaceutical company has announced it is going to stop producing medicines in Grimsby, affecting hundreds of jobs.
Novartis says the Grimsby site will close by the end of 2020 as part of a restructuring of its manufacturing network.
The company says 359 staff will be directly affected.

The Chief Constable of Lincolnshire Police says if more funding isn't found the force may have to cut more than 140 staff jobs.
He warns about 60 police officers could go and he might have to cut half of the force's police community support officers.
A reports says the force has to make savings of £10m over the next two years - after using up its reserves.

Plans for a 34-bed hotel and restaurant in Sleaford have been approved by North Kesteven District Council.
It's going to be built on Pride Parkway, within the Sleaford Enterprise Park.
Police want to speak to these two men after fake banknotes were used at a B&Q on Lea Road in Gainsborough.
On 23 August two men entered the shop at around 17:30. They went to separate tills where one man successfully used a fake note.
The other was quizzed by the cashier about the currency - he then ran out of the store.
Four electric toothbrushes have been stolen from a Boots in Louth - with a total value of around £1,200.
Officers want to talk to a man who was seen entering the store on Mercer Row at about midday on the 18 September.
A cyclist who threatened to stab a Gainsborough man, external during a street robbery has been jailed for four years.
Work to turn the former BHS store in Scunthorpe into a new indoor market has started today.
Around £4m is being spent on refurbishing the three-storey building, which will replace the current market site.

A woman had to be given a dressing gown by a member of the public after she had items of her clothing stolen.
It happened at around 02:00 in the Lawrence Lane area of Boston on 9 September - a handbag and phone are also believed to have been taken.
Police are keen to speak to the person who gave the woman the dressing gown.
