    More than £50m will be spent on increasing the number of places for children with special educational needs in Lincolnshire.

    Up to 500 places and ten new specialist schools will be created over the next five years.

    Lincolnshire County Council say it will alter seven academies and three local schools as part of the scheme to meet the target.

    Yesterday, the bank's branch in Coningsby closed and the branch in Alford will shut next week.

    Lloyds says the two branches weren't being used enough.

    A mobile service will replace them, according to the bank, but people are also being reminded they can do their banking via the Post Office as well.

    Pupils at five Lincolnshire primary schools are practicing for a live performance for BBC Children in Need.

    About 100 children will sing live on TV from Lincoln's New Theatre Royal, performing a song from hit movie The Greatest Showman.

    There'll also be entertainment from BBC Radio Lincolnshire staff.

    Jenson Patterson was last seen at around 23:30 on Sunday.

    He was wearing a blue Parka coat, with possibly a grey hoodie underneath, black tracksuit bottoms, and black Nike Tiempo trainers.

    The 15-year-old is also known as Jenson Rosenberg.

    Work on a second rail footbridge in Lincoln city centre will not begin today.

    Network Rail has drawn up plans for the bridge on Brayford Wharf East, near the University of Lincoln, to combat problems with people jumping level crossing barriers.

    Work had been expected to begin today, but a spokesman said it had been delayed there would be an update on the project in the next few days.

    An appeal is being made for information after the theft of four charity boxes in Lincolnshire.

    Police say it's thought the boxes were taken from Chestnuts Farm Shop and Post Office on Topsgate in Gedney at 01:45 on 13 October.

    Officers said the boxes contained about £25.
