    Sutton on Sea will feature in Danny Boyle's nationwide event to mark the centenary of the end of World War One.

    Members of the public are invited to assemble at dozens of beaches around the UK on Armistice Day, 11 November.

    A large-scale portrait of a casualty from the war will be drawn into the sand at low tide at each location and washed away as the tide comes in.

    Investigations are continuing following a crash in which two men died in Lincolnshire over the weekend.

    Coningsby's Lloyds Bank branch will close for the final time later today - one of several bank closures over the next few days.

    The bank's branch in Mablethorpe will close tomorrow and Alford's will shut its doors next week.

    Not enough customers are using the branches to justifying them staying open, the bank says.

    The number of sexual offences recorded against young children in Lincolnshire has fallen, figures obtained by the NSPCC show.

    While cases are increasing nationally, Lincolnshire Police saw a decrease from 118 in 2016 to 99 last year.

    The charity is relaunching its campaign urging parents to talk to children under eight years of age about staying safe from abuse.

    A total of 11 Humberside police officers were assaulted in just one night this weekend, according to the force's Chief Constable.

    Lee Freeman said eight officers, a PCSO, a special constable and a custody officer were all attacked.

    The Chief Constable described the assaults as "completely unacceptable and not part of the job" and said that all the incidents would be reported.
