    Olivia Bryson was last seen with a 12-year-old boy at about 09:15 BST on Tuesday as they boarded a Glasgow-bound train at Glengarnock railway station near Beith.

    Officers believe the pair intended to travel to Manchester. The boy has since been found.

    Olivia is thought to have family in the Manchester area and police are asking anyone with information to get in touch.

    Six men and one woman were arrested on a range drugs and gun crime offences.

    RMT union members at Northern are striking for 24 hours on Thursday in an ongoing a dispute about safety involving driver-only operated trains.

    The union said Northern had declared "war on passengers".

    Northern called for "meaningful" talks and said the majority of trains would run between 07:00 and 19:00.

    Manchester: The Night of the Bomb aired on BBC Two on the first anniversary of the bombing, which saw 22 people die and hundreds injured.

    Greater Manchester Police's Ian Hopkins said it had been "entirely misleading" in its depiction of police actions.

    The BBC said the programme had been "responsible, accurate and thoughtful".

    A long distance runner spent 18 hours tracing a 67-mile heart-shaped GPS tribute in memory of those who died in the Manchester attack.

    Nathan Rae battled the 108 km route around the city - stopping briefly for lunch - and raised more than £3,000 for for the North West Air Ambulance.

    The 37-year-old began in Sale at 07:30 on Tuesday and finished in Heaton Moor just after 01:00 on Wednesday.

    The resulting GPS image has been shared thousands of times on social media.

    Manchester marked the first anniversary of the May 2017 bombing on Tuesday, with a cathedral service and sing-along held in memory of the 22 victims.
