A girl who was hit by a car being pursued by two police vehicles suffered leg and wrist injuries, the police watchdog has said.
A spokesman for the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) said the girl, aged 15, was struck at about 22:00 last night in Broxtowe Lane and was given first aid by officers at the scene.
He said police attempted to stop a Vauxhall Astra, which had been reported driving at excess speed, when a "brief pursuit ensued involving two police cars and moments later the suspect vehicle collided with a 15-year-old girl pedestrian".
