The New Saints have given themselves a real chance of qualifying for the third qualifying round of the Champions League after a hard-earned 0-0 draw with Apoel at Park Hall.

The Oswestry-based, Welsh Premier League Champions frustrated the former quarter finalists and prevented them from scoring an important away goal.

A score draw in Cyprus would now be enough to take The Saints through and guarantee them at least two more ties in Europe.
