    A dog trainer has been warned he could face a prison sentence after allowing his dogs to kill and injure more than 50 lambs. 

    Charles Ross-Robertson, who's 64 from Stanton Lacy, near Ludlow, pleaded guilty at Hereford Crown Court to allowing his two Rottweilers to be dangerously out of control. 

    The dogs killed 35 lambs in Risbury in September and another 20 were so badly injured that they had to be put down, eight lambs are still missing. 

    He will be sentenced in March and an application has been made for the dogs to be destroyed.

    A huge tree has fallen down in Madeley, Telford, severing power supplies to more than 100 homes and "crushing a car" local resident Steven Bishop says.

    A care home in Telford has been branded inadequate - and put in special measures.

    The Care Quality Commission said there weren't enough staff "to meet people's needs safely" at St George's Park, on School Street, when it inspected last autumn.

    The CQC report , externalsaid it had received "widespread concerns about the standard of care provided", while one visitor told inspectors a relative had to wait three hours to be taken to the toilet.

    Rotherwood Healthcare, which took over the home in mid-2015, said it was "fully committed to turning it around". It added a specialist company has been contracted to help make the improvements.
