George Waring (pictured) has tweeted his thanks to the staff and fans at Shrewsbury Town for the past few months, after his loan spell from Stoke was not renewed.
He said he hopes Shrewsbury can stay up.

The plan to merge nine GP practices in Telford to create a group called Teldoc, is meant to make it easier to get a doctor's appointment, if your local practice is busy, but Healthwatch Telford, external says it could also reduce costs.
The patients group says the surgeries will share phone services and management and while there are no plans to close practices at the moment, that could be a possibility in the future.
Healthwatch Telford also said the merger would also reduce pressure on specialists and allow them more freedom to concentrate on their areas of interest.

From the start of April, nine GP practices in Telford will share their resources and this could make it easier to get an appointment with your doctor.
Six of them, Malinslee, Aqueduct, Madeley, Hadley, Leegomery and Lightmoor merged in 2015, allowing the 15,000 patients registered with those practices the chance to see a doctor at any of those sites.
Image source, ThinkstockLast month, Telford's Clinical Commissioning Group agreed to add three more practices, Lawley, Dawley and Oakengates Limes Walk, to create a group called Teldoc which will serve 50,000 of the 182,000 registered patients in Telford.
AFC Telford United boss Rob Smith introduced four new players to his squad on Saturday.
All four went straight into the side, including Eddie Jones, who scored this amazing goal in their 1-1 draw with Gainsborough Trinity.

Fire crews used thermal imaging gear as they fought to contain a chimney fire at a house in Bishop's Castle, external in the early hours of this morning.
It took them more than an hour to bring the blaze at a house on Corporation Street under control.
Crews were also called to the Stadco factory in Shrewsbury yesterday evening when a fire started in a large waste container.
They used breathing gear and a specialist fan to put it out.
